JUNGKOOK ignores Yoongi's calls for him to come spar with Seokjin as he quickly rushes out of the sparring room and after Nari. His heart was aching at the cold shoulder she was giving him. He didn't deserve this. Was it something he did? What is happening?
The moment he exits the room, he frantically looks both ways of the wide corridors of the castle. Jungkook spots Nari walking down the empty corridor, her gaze glued to her feet as she walked.
He runs toward her, panting as he did so. When he reaches her, he immediately grabs her arms again. This time, grabbing both as he didn't want her leaving this time. Not again.
"Nari," He breathed. She looked at him with wide eyes, surprised as she was quite taken aback that he'd chase after her. She guesses she can't hide her distress from the boy, no matter how hard she tried to.
Stunning her, Jungkook instantly pulls her into his embrace. He hugs her, holding her head against his chest with his hand as the other goes around her body. Laying his head on hers, he shuts his eyes.
He didn't know why she was feeling the way she was feeling but he didn't want to pry it out of her either. All he could do was be there for her, which is why he hugged her tight like there was no tomorrow.
His fingers soothingly brush against her head and his heart ached. In attempt to rid of this aching feeling, he shuts his eyes harder. However, it didn't work no matter how hard he tried.
But what startles him immensely, is when he feels the girl shake within his embrace. Nari buried her face into his chest. Jungkook could feel her hands grip the front of his shirt tightly, like she didn't want to let him go for her life depended on it.
He could feel his shirt get soaked as the girl cried against him. Even so, he didn't pull away from the hug to watch her cry. He only pulled her closer into him as he lets her bawl her eyes out. He wishes he knew why she was so upset, but he so wanted to respect her privacy too. Especially after how angry she had gotten with the group yesterday.
"I'm sorry." She sobs into the boys shirt. His eyebrows furrowed, confused and his heart ached at the sound of her voice. Her voice cracked and it was so obvious she was going through such angst.
Jungkook didn't know why she was apologizing, though he wished to know so badly. Therefore, he doesn't respond for a moment, too confused to do so.
He only places a soft kiss to her head, soothing her head as she cried into his shirt. The moment he hugged her, Nari completely broke down. That was enough for her to completely lose it. To completely let it all out.
She had been doing so good. But once he hugged her, despite not knowing the situation at all, she couldn't help but cry.
Nari's head hung low against his chest and she heaved a heavy breath. Her breathing became uneven, and she found it hard to keep her breathing steady. "You–" She couldn't bring herself to say, her breaths becoming too staggered. "You deserve b-better." She cried, shutting her eyes as she shielded herself from the boy who hugged her.
