AIMLESSLY, Nari slowly wandered the castle hallways with her arms hugged over her torso. She had no apparent destination, she just needed to air her mind. She was so clearly miserable after leaving a heartbroken Jungkook on the dance floor all alone. Not to mention, she was still trying to process everything.

Why he kissed her wasn't rocket science. Perhaps he simply liked the girl which she found extremely hard to believe considering he barely trusted her awhile ago and has stopped at nothing to get under her skin every single day. But even with that, it doesn't make any of this easier to understand.

Jungkook was complicated to understand when it came to Nari. She had no problem reading people but for some odd reason, she could barely read her partner. Something inside her was clouded every time she looked at him, she sometimes felt too distracted by his persona to successfully read his emotions.

Not only this, but he was extremely good at hiding his feelings. She had no clue he had an attraction toward her. No idea he had planned on doing what he did tonight.

It all made sense to her now. The reason why he rejected Xena, the reason he was so for the idea of him and Nari getting the night off. All so he could steal a dance and essentially a kiss from his partner.

Nari once said that Jungkook picks his targets. There was no doubt that Jungkook had now picked Nari... The thought scared her.

A heavy sigh escapes Nari's lips as she unties the masquerade mask from her face and holds the mask in her hands. Her gaze leaves the floor to watch the sun as it lay on the horizon of the ocean surface. The sky was a beautiful pink with tints of purple. Even if it was just a little bit, the sight eased her mind.

As she continued to walk further and further from the party, the noise of the crowd getting quieter and quieter, she stopped in her tracks when she spotted something familiar.

It was the symbol engraved in the castle walls. The same symbol he had sent her through her phone. Nari was a smart girl, she certainly knew she was supposed to see this and was supposed to do something with or about it.

She took a step closer to it, staring at it intensely. She runs her fingers on the engraved shape. What was so important about this, he needed to send her it?

As luck would have it, Nari applied pressure onto the engraved shape and an undercover button operated. The sudden noise scared her as she flinched backwards. She watched as a secret door opened from the wall. With a gasp, Nari glanced her surroundings, making sure no one sees her enter this.

Nari only thought these kind of things were in the movies! This was awesome.

Cautiously, she stepped into the door. With a couple steps in, the door eerily closed behind her. She doesn't even watch it close after her as she takes in the sight in front of her. There were torches lined against the wall and an evident echo could bounce off these concrete walls with ease. The hallways were dark and a little scary.
