NARI NERVOUSLY bit her lip as she knocked on the office door of Namjoon. It was the end of the day, the moon already upon them as she shifted her feet back and forth, waiting for him to open the door.
The door suddenly swiftly opens, revealing a confused Namjoon. With his eyes wide and his eyebrows furrowed, he tilts his head. "Nari? Do you need something? It's pretty late." He said, concern lacing his voice upon noticing her nervous exterior.
Nari only nods, letting herself into the room as she walked past her brother. Her eyes widen upon seeing Seokjin sitting at one of the chairs in the office. "Oh good, you're here too." She sighed contently.
"What's going on?" Namjoon asked, shutting the office door behind him before venturing to his desk. He leans against it, crossing his arms as he looked at the girl.
Nari heavily highs, sitting herself down on the seat beside Seokjin. "Where's Yoongi?" She asked, momentarily ignoring Namjoon's question.
"Uh," Seokjin hummed. "I think he's sparring with Jungkook right now. Why?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"I gotta ask you guys something." Nari suddenly says, sitting up in her seat, looking at the two boys. "You know, since you two have been Jungkook's best friends since... forever." She explained.
Namjoon and Seokjin stared at the girl with curious eyes, anticipating her next words. She releases a shaky breath, playing with her fingers nervously. "How does.... How does Jungkook feel about kids?"
Seokjin loudly gasped. "Are you pregnant?!" He shouts, covering his mouth as he was surprised.
Nari punches his arm, shutting him up. "No! Are you crazy?!" She scolded, scoffing as her eyebrows furrowed.
Seokjin pouts, rubbing his arm. "Ow."
"I'm just wondering!" Nari's quick to defend herself.
After what the nurse told her after a few more test, Nari had to know Jungkook's thoughts on it. She was scared, however she chose not to show it through her tough exterior.
Namjoon sighed, shrugging. "I mean... He doesn't really talk about it. None of us do."
Nari sighed, defeated. "I don't know how he feels about it, but I do know he's good with them!" Seokjin reassured her, remembering his moments with Jungkook as he interacted with kids in the town.
Nari nodded, averting her gaze away from the two before abruptly standing up. "Okay. Thanks." She quickly says, swiftly turning around and walking toward the office door.
"Woah, woah, woah." Namjoon rushes up to her, blocking her from leaving. "What's with all the kid talk? What's going on?" He questioned, holding his hands up.
Nari stared at him. She couldn't hide her uneasiness as he questioned her. However, she refused to answer. "Nothing. I was just curious." She couldn't help but lie, attempting to walk past Namjoon once more.
