THE EMBASSY was constantly bustling with noise. Not a day went by where it was genuinely quiet, the sounds of never ending chatter and occasional gun shots fired from training assassins was all Lee Nari had ever experienced.

Nari, who most considered to be the best trained assassin considering her never ending special talent and treatment, hated it. If all she could get, for once, was a good nights sleep, she would probably never complain ever again.

Scratch that. She couldn't give up complaining for it gave her too much joy.

But there Nari lay on the old and lonely chaise in the middle of the room, bored, as she waited for another mission to come her way. It's been months since she was last given one. She could only assume it was because people were finally beginning to leave the Embassy alone therefore the Embassy no longer needed to worry about the constant assassinations.

A knock at the door catches Nari's attention. Her excitement bursts through her at the thought of it being one of The Ambassador's minions coming to tell her they've finally found her a job to do.

"Come in." Nari says, keeping her cool. She was right, it was indeed one of The Ambassadors minions but instead of him handing her the case file like they usually did, he simply tells the girl that The Ambassador wanted to speak with her in person instead.

Of course, she was shocked. Nari hadn't spoken to or seen The Ambassador in months for he was always too busy. Even though he'd always give her the best treatment and the best training, she barely got to see him.

Nari deeply sighed, getting up from her comfortable spot. For the best assassin in the Embassy, she sure was lazy. The man holds open the door for her as she walks out, greeted with the busy hallways of the building. People, ranging from all ages, were found constantly chatting and walking around.

Nari walks herself to The Ambassador's office, ignoring the glances she'd be given from the scary looking and secretive employees around her.

The big double doors covered in a dark maroon felt is the only thing between Nari and The Ambassador now. She looks at the guard who stands at the door and without another heartbeat, he opens the door for her to enter. The doors slowly creak open, sunlight hitting her pale skin.

She couldn't believe it but her heart was beating out of her chest, sweat trickling down her sideburns. Nari had wondered why on earth she was so nervous. Maybe it was because everyone feared The Ambassador with their whole life. Even her.

The room was wickedly symmetrical. Two guards stand on either side of The Ambassador as he sits at his desk in the center of the room. The entire back wall behind him, was just a crazy large window, revealing the eerie view of a foggy and grey ocean sky. Nari's shoes tapped on the polished marble flooring as she walks toward the man.
