JUNGKOOK'S eyes follow Nari's finger as she pointed to one of the windows of The Ambassador's office. With wide eyes, he quickly shakes his head. "What? No!" He exclaims. Jungkook was never the biggest fan of heights.
He watches with fearful eyes as Nari twists the window's handle open, pushing it out. A gust of wind from the ocean breeze blows her hair onto her face. She glances out the window, seeing a thin ledge leading to another window of the building. However, underneath them was a dark, eerie, and rough ocean. If they fell, they might as well end up dead.
"Nari..." He sighed to himself. The day at the hotel where they had gotten arrested just a couple of months ago suddenly resurface in his head. The way he had let her down, he never wanted to do again.
But unfortunately for him, his fears overtook his entire body and he just couldn't budge.
"Listen," She begins, walking up to him as she pulled him closer to the window, the breeze hitting his face too. "This is the only way. We aren't getting arrested if they find us, Jungkook. We're getting killed." She explains.
The boy shuts his eyes, a breath escaping his lips. His heart pounded like crazy and fear took over his entire body. Nari felt hopeless watching him break right in front of her.
She sighed, bringing her hands up to his tie. Surprising him, she undoes his tie, making him blush the slightest bit. "W-What are you doing?" He stammers on his words, instinctively taking a step back.
Nari takes his tie off of his neck, grabbing his arm before she swiftly wraps the tie around the both of their forearms. "I'm tying us together." She simply explained, using her teeth to pull the tie and tighten the grip on their forearms. "You're scared of falling, right? This," She points to their arms tied together. "is so that doesn't happen."
"If you fall, I'm going with you." She tells him with soft eyes. He only looks at her, a look of pure adoration in his eyes as his lips gaped the slightest.
Another bang at the door knocks them out of their thoughts. The books on the shelve that Jungkook had pushed in front of the door slightly shift in their place.
Nari quickly pulls Jungkook toward the window, stepping onto the ledge. She grabs his other hand, helping him up. The moment he steps onto the ledge, he's met with the deep descend of the tall building and the dark ocean.
Jungkook releases a shaky breath. "Close your eyes." Nari suggested. "Don't look down. I'll guide you." She tells him to which he only nodded his head.
This definitely wasn't apart of the plan, and Jungkook was freaking out.
He shuts his eyes, using his other senses as his feet slowly slid toward the girl. Nari looks down at the black ocean, a breeze hitting their skin as she held onto Jungkook's hand. She could feel his tight, fearful grip. But no matter how much it hurt, she allowed him to hold her.
