FOUR MONTHS LATER

NAMJOON SIGHED, sitting back in his desk chair as he came back empty handed once more. He peers his head up and away from the computer screen to see Yoongi sitting at the window sill of his office, petting his cat in his arms.

"Find anything?" Yoongi asks, smiling to himself as the car purrs when Yoongi goes to rub his fingers under the cat's chin.

Namjoon shakes his head, disappointed. "Nothing." He sighed, taking his glasses off of his face and stressfully rubbing his eyes. "She's completely off the grid. She's not even at the Embassy anymore, she's just... gone."

When Namjoon found out from Yoongi that Nari left four months ago, he stopped at nothing to find her. He couldn't lose his little sister again.

Nari didn't even know they were siblings. The only people who knew were Yoongi, Seokjin, Namjoon and... Jungkook.

When Namjoon told the younger boy last month after months of deciding whether or not he should let him know, Jungkook only stared at him, nodded his head and left the room without another word. It seemed like the mention of Nari did something to him every time they brought her up in front of the boy.

Because of that, Namjoon, Yoongi and even Seokjin don't converse about Nari in front of Jungkook anymore. It was obvious the boy was still hurt. He had gotten out of recovery a couple of weeks later to Nari being completely gone.

And when he saw the ring he had given to Nari on his finger again, his heart just... broke.

Even though he didn't speak of it, it was a no-brainer that Jungkook had missed her. The boys could see that.

However, Jungkook never spoke of it because of the last words he had said to her. He understands why she left. If it weren't for the fact that she was an assassin, perhaps it was the fact that he told her he hated her.

Even if it wasn't the truth.

Jungkook spent the last four months replaying that day in his head. He wished things went differently. He wished he told her what he promised he would one day.

If he had just known that would be the last time he saw her... He would have never said those hurtful words. He doesn't even know why he did, he was just so angry.

Instead, he told her that he wished they never met. He told her she was pathetic and he said that he hated her. He hated himself for it, because everything he said was a lie.

Not to mention, she admitted to him that she loved him and he didn't even say it back...

He doesn't care about her past. Not anymore. He's had a lot of time to think about everything. All he knows is... he misses her.
