"I'm a home-wrecker!" Ava whispers. She's mortified.
"Well, I'm pretty sure they had a rather exciting night after that!" I laugh at the expense of her horror. "Ol' Davie looked like all his dreams and fantasies came true when you kissed Jacinta."
"You just let me kiss her?" Ava gasps, back handing my arm.
"What? I wasn't going to stop you. Besides, it was rather sexy."
"Creep!" Ava punches my arm again, shaking her head and squeezing her eyes shut from embarrassment.
"You weren't... jealous?" She narrows her eyes at me.
"Not at all," I snort, "You were drunk and having fun, love. Lord knows I've done a lot worse than kiss married strangers when I'm drunk."
"Please tell me that was the last of my drunken antics?" She muffles as her face is buried behind her arms.
"If only!" I tease. "Did you know that Channing Tatum used to moonlight as a stripper before making it in Hollywood?"
Ava eyes me suspiciously. "Uhm. Yeah? Magic Mike was apparently his story. Where are you going with this?"
"Did you work as an exotic dancer to pay your way through med school?"
"What?? No. I was on scholarship." Ava laughs nervously. "Jamie?"
I laugh incredulously, her eyes growing in confusion. "Hmm well. We got to my room and you pushed me down onto the couch and proceeded to give me a rather entertaining striptease and lap dance."
"No!!" Ava gasps into her hand.
I couldn't hold up any longer and I'm literally shaking with laughter. Ava is stunned with embarrassment and just blinks at me blankly.
"If you ever remember one thing about last night, it needs to be whatever song was playing in your head while you were stripping. I want to listen to it whenever I'm sad." The tears start rolling down my cheeks. "Because there was no music playing, but you were humming and dancing to something with a good beat. It was... enlightening. Although I must admit, you were a whole lot better than the girls I've had lapdances from, at actual titty bars so if the surgery thing doesn't work out at least you have a promising backup plan." I continue to tease. "I always knew it but those hips don't lie."
Ava shakes her head and looks like she's about to go into shock as she drops her head onto her folded arms, still shaking her head.
I laugh and wait for her to emerge and when she does, Ava smiles embarrassingly, "I am so sorry!!" She purses her lips, "I am mortified!"
