Ava let's me know that her and the kids are making a stop at the beach first, saying that the weather is a much better variety than the ghastly London variation.

My team mates, specifically Wilhelm who is our new driver from Sweden and essentially my new partner, laugh at me when I ask for an SUV instead of the sleek sports car the team has loaned me for the weekend; it's either that or we'd have to strap Adam and August to the roof.

Ignoring their jests, I excitedly make my way through to Nice. Besides, do you think I'm going to miss out on seeing Ava King wet and in a fucking bathing suit? Not a chance in hell, buddy.

And boy, she doesn't disappoint. I feel like my James Bond fantasies are fulfilled as she emerges from the depths of the Mediterranean Sea clad in a clay-coloured, woven one piece.

The water cascades down the curvature of her body, dripping down her nipples which are perky as fuck, leaving absolutely fuck all to the imagination.

I swear it, she's deliberately walking in slow motion.

It's not my imagination. I refuse to acknowledge that possibility.

And trust, it's not just me. She walks past a guy who literally gets swatted by his girlfriend/wife/mistress for gaping at Ava.

I have no fucking idea what she's on about, calling herself dumpy and fat. It's that dickhead still in her head. Her body is amazing. Her boobs are fuller and, now that I'm looking at it, so is her butt but how or when has that ever been a problem??

"Jamie. James. James!!" She snaps her fingers at me and I snicker, realizing I completely zoned out. Busted.

"What, woman?" I jest, sliding my aviators back up my nose and kissing her cheek. "I was enjoying the view."

"Sure you were," she scoffs, gesturing towards their beach spot. "You can't deny 'the view' is significantly rounder."

"I have no idea what you're talking about, love. You look incredible. And I think you may have  just caused at least one divorce, you home wrecker you."

Ava snickers as she sits down to dry her hair, wrapping a towel tightly around her waist, still evidently conscious. And her eyes flicker occasionally to the seaside where Adam and August play and enjoy the sunshine.

"Whatever," she rolls her eyes. "My ass is huge."

"All the more for me to devour." I shrug innocently and Ava shoves me as I make myself comfortable on the lounger next to hers, folding my arms behind my head.

"They're having a blast." I nod in the direction of the kids.

"They are. They haven't shut up about today and apparently tomorrow is going to be just as fun for them."

"It sure is. We have simulations and a small little team competition prepared for them." I think I'm more excited than the kids. "What are you and Iris going to do since you have the day off? Tomorrow is just for the kids."
