"Ooouuucccchhhh!!" James gasps out breathlessly.

But I laugh out loud, "You literally sound like Shrek!"

"Wow, first she blows me off, then she calls me Shrek. My ego is taking a proper beating tonight." He says honestly, taking a deep breath. "A guy can take a hint."

"Ah come on," I plead, "I'm not blowing you off. I just don't want to know. I mean... gaahhh I can't believe I'm saying this." I take a deep breathe in, "I'd be disappointed if you said you were, and I wouldn't believe you if you said you weren't. So I'd rather not know."

Fuck this weed is kicking in and I'm talking way too much!

"Wait... what? Why wouldn't you believe me?" James asks offensively, crashing down from his momentary elation.

"Do you own a mirror?" I scoff. "I just find it hard to believe that someone like you would be single." I wave my hand over his face and body playfully. "I mean even if we take away the fact that you are who you are, it still leaves you being really, really, really ridiculously good looking." I can feel my ears redden instantly. "People like you don't stay single for long. And I'd imagine you're not exactly short on options to keep your bed warm at night, either."

James narrows his eyes at me, then smirks.

"Don't you think there's more to life than being really, really, really ridiculously good looking?" He mimics Zoolander to the tee and I roll with laughter, clapping dramatically.

"Bravo! That was freakishly accurate!"

Fuck he's adorable!

"I love how you haven't denied anything." I challenge him and I love that I can be myself.

"Well, it just seems like you've already figured me out and not much of what I'm going to say will change your mind." He retorts.

"Are you getting cheeky with me?" I smirk, "Well, one thing I love more than being right all the time, is when someone proves me wrong."

"Challenge accepted," he says with a broad smile. "So why isn't Fabio your type?"

"You mean Francesco?"

"Whatever. I mean he's a good looking chap, does well for himself too. He's an art dealer right?"

"Yeah. He is. But you called it, he's boring as fuck! It's like the snooze button just kicked in and I was headed straight to snoozeville." I giggle way too honestly. "Besides he's too good looking. I've always said I'd never date a guy who is prettier than me or who has better hair than me. So, I guess there goes your chance too," I nudge him playfully and he just rolls his eyes.

"So you like personality, eh?" he teases. He turns his back to the view and leans against the railing, facing me instead, not letting go of my hand and I feel subtle pull towards his body while he wraps his arms around my waist.
