At the pinnacle of her career, orthopedic surgeon Ava King conquers the lucrative medical field of London.

A wild and intimate night with competitive Formula One driver, James Ellis, ends with Ava being stood up. The rejection leads her straight into the arms of the enigmatic surgeon, Gabriel.

Ava plays with fire as she can't forget her strong connection with James, but can't resist the jealous and possessive Gabriel, either.

What follows can only be called a harrowing series of events. Ava wakes up in the hospital, but as a patient, forcing her to revisit her traumatic recent past.
