After our love making-come-wild-rompage, Jamie finally gave me a chance to rest. To say he was relentless and making up for lost time, is an understatement. Once he was convinced that I wouldn't break or snap (literally and emotionally) the old James came to the party and we were back in November.

Adios, Grandpa James.

As I sit up and drink some water (Jamie insisted), I start to look around the room. It's a proper cabin pod style but there's something distinctly James about it. The waft of his cologne, his stylish sneakers, his laptop plugged in alongside the headphones and framed pictures of his family.

There's one of his mom and dad, a picture with him, his brother and sister, another photograph of him and Gianna with her legs draped around him at last year's Silverstone race (I remember, because I was there that day) and —

"Where did you get this?"

It's a picture of Adam, Jamie and myself. James is kneeling next to Adam, who's holding a little trophy, while I'm looking down at the both of them, smiling heartily.

"In Nice, remember? Wilhelm took it on our last day, before all hell broke loose."

"You kept it?" I ask.

"Yeah Wilhelm... the little shit is growing on me... he gave it to me as a gift on my first race back. I love it. It's us. Our family."

Cue heart explosion.

A simple Polaroid is tucked into the corner of the frame and on closer inspection, I recognize it as one taken of me at Gianna and Antonio's anniversary party, while singing their song.

"You haven't sung for me since that night." He straddles me from behind, kissing my bareback.

"Well, I only ever sing for Adam. And I will probs sing for this little nugget, too." I point down to my belly.

"That's the night I realized I was in love with you."

"What?" I turn to face James.

"Yeah. I kind of knew for a while. But in that moment? When I heard your voice my heart... fuck it I don't know, it stopped and exploded at the same time? It was insane. I thought I was dying." James chuckles and drops his head embarrassingly onto my shoulder.

"I know the feeling."

"So Nugget, eh?" Jamie giggles as he drives us back to our hotel.

"Huh?"

"You called the baby 'Nugget' earlier."

"Oh it's just a nickname. Adam was 'Spartan.'" I tease.

"Have you thought about names?" He asks somewhat nervously.

"I have. You?"

He nods. "Only if it's a boy. I like William."
