why i write

i wrote this lil poem about why i write... shorter than usual, but i hope you like it!

i do it for the

brown eyed girls

with the big dreams

and wild imaginations

i do it for the mothers

and the daughters

and the sisters

i do it for everyone

who hurts

and everyone who

heals

i do it for people wearing

black for far too long

i do it for people with

a different kind of

bracelets

on their wrists

i do it for the

sunshine boys

and angel ones

i do it for my friends

and the people i've loved

i do it because i have

been there

and back again

and it's too hard to let

another soul

slip away

on my watch

it's too hard to let

another girl like me

fall apart
