it was meant for
someone else

proper

normal
you're not
normal
you're a
dreamer
with an
imagination
that runs
wilder
than flowers
over old stone
you're an
adult
who somehow
still has the
audacity
to believe
in kiddish
fairytales
from the first
moment
i saw you
i was
caught
under your
witch-like
spell
entranced
enchanted
let me loose
from this prison
let my heart
find
who it was meant
to find
but i longed
to stare into your
opal eyes
and watch your
pink lips
move
as you talked
about
magical
things
whimsical
ones
neverland
wonderland
and anything
in between
your
grip on me
grew stronger
your roots
took hold
your presence
enraptured me
entrapped me
ivy
growing over
my heart
twisting vines
over
my soul
i couldn't
break loose
even if i
wanted to
i didn't try to
you held me
in your hands
one drop
and everything
i was
would've
shattered
you didn't
instead
you let your
love
grow over
my cracks
and
my scars
you let your
wild
run wild
in me
until i was
covered
in you
