almost

spiraling down

strong

soft dirt

sun

high up above

perhaps the

flower

a bouquet of them

they matched you

your sunny

personality

and your bright

eyes

the happiness

that pervaded

everything

in your life

even if there

wasn't always

to be happy about

you loved the

flowers i brought

put them in a

glass vase

on your dining room

solemnly

i took you out

to lunch

we had

four months

of good things

before everything

shattered

summer love

a summer romance
