Once again , I dismissed another photographer. None of them were getting the picture I wanted . I wanted to scream . None of the images in front of me looked even remotely right .
My manager ran onto set saying that it was one more photographer left . I smiled at him as the new photographer entered the room . He was an attractive man and looked my age .
" Hi I'm Felix Lee " . He introduced . His Australian accent thick and sharp .
" Hi I'm y/n ." He smiled at me before grabbing his camera . I went back to my spot on set and waited for him to tell me to pose . He seemed that he didn't know what he was doing and that he definitely didn't know how to pull it off .
I wanted my picture to scream "BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMAN " . I wanted the magazine to show that a black woman , like me could cause a whole room to hush with just one word .
" I'm not going to tell you how to pose . I want you to pose like how you feel is the right way " . He smiled . I posed , staring directly into the camera. The flash of the camera not even effecting me .
I walked towards him , expecting a bad picture , but gasped at what I saw . The picture I envisioned, the exact photograph I wanted .

" You look beautiful ". Felix complimented , smirking .
" I know ". I smirked right back , walking off set and straight into my dressing room , my manager and stylist following close behind . Feeling his lingering eyes on my body as I walked away . Maybe one day he'd get to see the naked beauty of what he was staring at . 😉
