Based off the beautiful masterpiece ~ Comfortable by H.E.R . I don't know if I've ever did a story based off this song before , but if I have it's fine . This is cute or whateva 💁🏽♀️ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This one shot is based in a mental health hospital . The students are basically all coming together to talk about topics they struggle on which is something I used to do In mines. ~~~~~~~
Being a therapist was my dream since I was little & I was finally living my dream. The clients crowded around me as other therapists sat in the back of the room . We were having an open conversation about being ready for sex & how it's important to not rush the process.
"the person that you are being intimate with should make you feel comfortable . The person should feel like a warm quilt when you are around them . " I described with a sweet smile .
The clients nodded their heads along to what I was saying .
" Does anyone make you feel that way , Ms. y/n" ? A patient asked causing me to pause . A blush made it's way onto my cheeks , thanking the GODS for my dark complexion .
My eyes shot to Dr. Sanha in the back of the room . They remained on him as I answered the patient's question.
" as a matter of fact , there is someone that makes me feel that way . This person makes me feel loved , special , & I think he might just be my soulmate. He's more comfortable than a warm quilt to me." I exclaimed .
The room was silent for a minute before I seen warm smiles make their way onto people's faces around the room . Sanha smiled at me , smoothly blowing me a kiss. I caught it in my hand making sure that no one else saw .
There wasn't really a reason for us to hide , but the clients wouldn't live this down if they knew . We'd get teased all day & we didn't want the attention on us , we wanted it to be on the patients who needed help.
"Keep him Ms. y/n . He sounds sweet. ". Another patient commented.
"I'll try to keep him forever & ever , but let's end this discussion . Your personal therapists are waiting in the back of the room for you . Your all dismissed ".
The patients quickly got up , running to their therapists , & filing out of the room .
" I've never had anyone tell me that they're (they are) comfortable with me or around me . It seems like such a weird word to describe a relationship or a friendship . Hearing you finally explain it out loud makes me the happiest man alive . I think it could possibly be one of the biggest compliments you could give someone". Sanha said as he sat down next to me.
" I couldn't describe our relationship with a better word . You make me feel another world of happiness & I'm so grateful for you . Why not tell everyone that someone makes me feel this good ? He pulled me in for a deep kiss , luckily everyone had left the room.
" Let's tell everyone then . You haven't told our families , friends , nor coworkers . I want everyone to know that I'm in love with you. Don't you ? "
His eyes showed nothing , but sincerity & love - making me tear up a bit. I nodded my head "yes". He pulled me in for another kiss before getting down on one knee .
" well this is very cliche . It's unexpected & I don't have a ring yet because this moment came out of nowhere . I want to spend the rest of my life with you & I'm the absolute happiest person when I'm around you . Will you marry me , y/n ?
I of course said "yes " leading to a loud cheering coming from behind me . Our families popped up from their hiding places . My mom rushed over to me , giving me a warm hug .
" What are you guys doing here "? I asked , still shocked .
" Sanha accidentally told us a long time ago that you two were dating . I was just waiting on my baby girl to come tell me ". My mom replied .
•••• Our wedding was amazing & so was the beautiful reception . A huge diamond adorned my ring finger with our initials engraved on the band . As of now , we were cuddled up on a couch in Bora Bora , basking in the presence of one another .
