Mingyu (Seventeen)

The continuous missing out on family dinners & the kids asking for him constantly, irritated me to the max. He would always miss birthday's working at the studio & would promise to make it up, but never came around .

I couldn't take it.

It was almost as if we were strangers again . I would've suspected him of cheating , but he always had proof that he was doing what he was supposed too.

Today , I was going to confront him while the kids were at school. When he trudged through the door , I sighed following him up the steps.

"You know Mingyu,  I'm so fucking tired of you lying to the kids." I said . He rolled his eyes , placing his head in his hands .

" and I'm so fucking tired of you breathing down my neck . " Mingyu groaned . I looked at him shocked that he would even talk to me like that.

" Do you ever think about how we feel when your gone"? I asked him , crossing my arms. He stood up & glared at me .

" Do you ever think about the fact that I'm doing this for y'all ? The restless nights , the hours of work , & the hate I get online . Do you ever just sit down & think about how I'm sacrificing so much just so your ungrateful ass has money to buy what you & the kids want ? " He yelled , walking towards the closet .

He started taking clothes off the racks & that's when I realized how selfish I was really being . He packed up his bags & headed for the door .

I ran after him trying to stop him from leaving , but he wouldn't listen . He was really angry , just because of me . He angrily left the house , entering his car & driving off .

Now I'm finally realizing....

Maybe I just should've just appreciated our time together while he was here.

I hate this one-shot . My writing wasn't that good in it I think. I wrote it while I was trying to teach my bird's how to talk . Wish me luck ☺️
