I simply didn't believe in love anymore . My ex husband had cheated on me & left me with nothing . It had been 3 years since I even slept with anyone.
Tonight , I was in one of my depressed moods & needed a drink . My best friend took it upon himself to come over & make his self at home . He hung up his jacket on the rack , making his way towards my bedroom where I was lying down watching Netflix .
I'm not gonna lie & say I never thought of him in a boyfriend type of way . He was perfect for me & had the best manners . Even though he was covered in tattoos & looked incredibly intimidating, he was actually the sweetest person ever .
I think I might have developed a crush on him over the years & I hadn't had one of those in a long time .
I missed the feeling .
The butterflies in your stomach , the way your face heats up , and the way your palm sweat just by the their presence.
He was currently snuggled into me with his hand deep in the popcorn bowl . He laughed at the movie playing on the Tv & I couldn't help , but sneak glances at his perfect face .
"I have a question ". I stated , sitting up & turning on my lamp . He focused his full attention on me and patiently waited for me to proceed .
" What do you do if you have a crush "? I asked . He cleared his throat & looked at me confusingly . We became friends after my divorce & NEVER talked about crushes or relationships.
This was certainly new to him.
" You make the first move because they most likely don't know or they might basing on how obvious you are . " He said with a bright smile on his face , still oblivious.
I smiled at him before grabbing his chin and kissing him softly . He groaned into my mouth and deepened the kiss , gripping my waist with his tattooed arms.
"So I'm the crush "? He asked , smiling with his now red swollen lips.
"Yea. Who else has my heart like you do "? I replied kissing him again.
I could stay like this forever .
