BM (Kard)

The pair sat cross-legged on the high cliff , overlooking the deep ocean. Unshed tears stilled in Naomi's eyes . Once again , she had been played by her own husband  . The man sitting next to her had cheated and lied so many times that it seemed as if it was now a habit. 

Matthew and Naomi were high school sweethearts , he always adored her humor and her intelligence . Naomi was only 16 graduating with a class full of eighteen year olds . Now at the age of 26 , she had finally gave up .This relationship had caused so much toxic tension between the two .  She couldn't help , but think that they should have just stayed friends.

She gave Matthew everything he wanted , including two beautiful twins : a boy and a girl . Marley and Marlo. Right now the kids were staying at their grandma's house since Naomi didn't want the kids to see the constant arguing between their parents.

Matthew sat next to Naomi with the same tears streaking down his face . They both knew that this was the end of the empire that they had spent years building together . 

" You know , We had a way of being  quiet together , like the silence between us was saying things we knew we couldn't ".. Naomi giggled while wiping her tears .

" We are still the best parents in the world to Marley and Marlo , but I think we should work on ourselves before continuing on with this marriage. I have the upmost love for you and as much as I want to push you into the ocean for what you did , I don't think my heart would be able to take the thought of you leaving me permanently." Matthew looked deep into Naomi's big brown eyes , knowing that every word she just uttered was sincere and from the bottom of her heart.

" I'm gonna miss you so much" Matthew cried into his hands.

" I'm not going anywhere. You have my number and when I move down the street , you'll have my new address". She kissed his forehead , wiping his tears .

"What are you going to do" ? Matthew asked . The two had spent almost everyday together since they were teenagers , he was genuinely confused on what to do without her .

" I'm going to go home , pack my bags , and then go to my new place . Then I'll let my heart hurt until it can't hurt anymore." Naomi painfully smiled at him  before helping him up from the ground. 

The pair drove in two cars , just incase this talk didn't go the right way. Matthew hugged Naomi tightly before kissing her one last time on the lips . The future was inevitable and no one could be certain if they would ever be together again , but Naomi truly believed that if the duo were soulmates then they would slowly make their ways back to each other..
