monday, 7:38am

it's been a week, felix has slowly been getting used to the new school. of course it was hard, but with jisung by his side to always reassure him, he was doing good.

now here he was, walking to school when jisung suddenly popped up beside him.

"what's up, stranger? where you heading off to so early in the morning?" he asked, putting his arm around the youngers shoulder.

"school, where else?" felix chuckled.

"ohh yeah." jisung laughed, "i'll walk you there." he smiled, felix nodding his head.

soon enough, both boys arrived at the school, stopping in front of it.

"damn, this is a big school." jisung said in shock, staring up at the big building.

"that's what i thought." felix chuckled, "anyways, i wanna get to class early so, you have to go now." he said, jisung pouting.

"fine, i'll see you later?" he questioned, walking backwards.

felix nodded his head, watching as the older turned back around and walked away.

——

as the day went, felix just got more anxious and anxious. toxic thoughts surrounding his mind, and toxic feelings making his chest feel heavy.

the teachers kept giving out assignments, the students kept intentionally bumping into him in the hallways, it was tiring.

all he wanted to do was break down and cry. but of course, he couldn't do that.

he could only let it out, late at night as quiet as possible.

he didn't want anyone in the house to hear his sobs, so he tried to be quiet as ever.

sometimes, he just wants to scream and cry as loud as he possible. but he never can, not wanting to worry his family.

felix's muffled sobs echoed in the room, his heart wouldn't stop beating so loudly.

the agonizing pain felix felt in his heart wouldn't go away, it's always been like this. these anxious feelings followed him every where he went.

like a curse.

out of nowhere, jisung appeared in front of him, he cupped the youngers face and gently wiped away the tears.

felix stared at him with pain clear in his eyes, when he ever so softly whispered, "don't cry, lix."

"you're too cool to be crying." that only made him cry harder, the older engulfing him in a tight hug.

felix sobbed into the olders neck, trying to be as quiet as he could.

"it's okay, lix. i'm here now." jisung whispered, as he rubbed the others back.

eventually, felix fell asleep in the others arms. jisung layed the boy down gently, and walked to the window.

he looked at him one last time, and disappeared from sight.
