jisung looked at felix, who was sleeping peacefully in the back.
he looked so ethereal. there was no other way to describe it. just pure beauty, and jisung couldn't look away.
the way his skin glowed, and the way his lips were parted slightly, the way his lashes rested on the top of his cheeks, the way his chest rose and fell slowly.
everything about him.. was just so amazing. and, sadly he couldn't see that.
such a beautiful soul ruined by the wicked thoughts in his head. he deserved everything.
felix's eyes slowly fluttered open, making jisung quickly turn back around.
"sung...?" he called out tiredly, before he yawned.
"y—yeah?" jisung asked, feeling his heart racing in his chest.
felix sat up and rubbed his eyes, "where are we?" he asked, looking through the windows.
"i drove to a.. g—gas station. i thought we could get some snacks?" he said, staring at the run down building.
it looked sketchy, if he was being honest. but, never judge a book by its cover, right?
felix yawned and put his hoodie over his head, nodding his head. "okay, you got money?" he asked.
jisung nodded, and they walked hand in hand into the run down gas station.
"w—where's the bathroom?" felix has shyly, to the cashier.
the cashier lazily pointed to the corner of the store, and felix nodded and heading towards it.
jisung began looking through the few aisles, grabbing a few bags of chips and some candy bars. soon enough felix came back, grabbing some more snacks and such.
the two boys quickly paid, and went back to their car.
"you wanna go home?" jisung asked as he started the car.
felix shook his head, "i barely ever go out, it's nice to leave sometimes." he said, as he opened a bag of chips.
"so tomorrow?" the older asked, felix nodding his head with a small smile.

meanwhile, back at home, felix's mother was knocking on his door.
"felix? we ordered food, come out and have some." she said, confused when there was no response.
"felix?" she asked, knocking again.
eventually, she grabbed the key to his door, thinking he was just sleeping.
she opened the door, expecting to see him laying in his bed. she looked around the room, not finding him anywhere.
even the bear that was usually sat on his bed was gone, both of them nowhere to be seen.
she ran downstairs, "did felix go somewhere?" she asked her family.
"why? is he gone?" her husband asked, sipping on his coffee.
"where can he go? he never leaves the house anyway." seowon shrugged.
"not now, seowon." her mother sighed.
she grabbed her phone and called him, expecting him to pick up right away. she sighed and tried texting him.
"he's not answering, should we go to the police?" she asked, her husband chuckling.
"relax, he's probably at a friends." he reassured, seowon laughed.
"we all know he doesn't have friends. he doesn't even have a real—"
"seowon! enough! that is your brother!" her mother yelled, seowon scoffing and going back upstairs.
"it's okay, he'll be back soon. if he's not back by tonight, then we'll go to the police." her husband said, holding his wife's hand.
"okay, maybe i'm just overthinking." she said, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath.
——
felix laughed at jisung, "that's so dumb!"
"why would you do that?" he asked, struggling to catch his breath.
"they said it would work! i wanted to see!" jisung chuckled as felix laughed harder.
"that's obviously a lie! you literally almost burnt your house down!" he laughed, holding his stomach.
"you can say that again, i got grounded for five months." jisung pouted, slouching in his seat.
"dude, i don't even know— that's the dumbest thing you've probably ever did. nothing can convince me otherwise." felix said, downing the rest of his drink.
"it's not my fault, i'm—"
"it's kinda is." felix cut him off.
"you really thought that putting a penny in the microwave would shrink it?" felix looked at him, and jisung shrugged.
felix shook his head with a soft chuckle, and drank the rest of his water.
"you're crazy, sung." he smiled, jisung smiled back.
"is that a good thing?" he asked.
felix smiled again, "of course, i like it." he said, jisung's cheeks going red.
