felix groaned when he heard his parents calling for him from downstairs, he took out his earphones and started making his way down the steps.
"what?" he asked as he reached the bottom, he noticed his mother dressed in a fancy dress, the kind that she only wore when they had to go somewhere important.
"go put this suit on, the hwang's are coming over for dinner in half an hour." his father instructed, handing the blonde a tuxedo.
"what, why?" the blonde asked, staring as his sister started to set the table.
"just go do it, son." mr. lee said as mrs. lee starting helping him with his tie.
felix went back up stairs to change into the suit, while simultaneously cursing under his breath.
he fixed his hair, and sprayed some cologne from his father onto his wrists before dragging himself down the stairs.
the smell of chicken filled his nostrils the closer he got to the kitchen.
"mmm, what's for dinner?" he asked seowon as he walked into the room, while trying to fix his tie.
"chicken cordon bleu." seowon said with a proud smile on her face.
"say what now?" felix questioned.
"it's chicken, ham and cheese." felix nodded at her words, and turned whilst still attempting to tie his tie.
"felix! what's wrong with your tie?" his mother asked him, walking over and fixing his tie.
"i don't know how to tie it." his mother chuckled, "yeah, it's obvious." she said, wiping away the nonexistent dust on his shoulder.
"why are the hwang's coming over anyways?" he asked, as his mother checked the time on the clock.
"it's a dinner to celebrate your father's advancement in mrs. hwang's company." right as she finished her sentence, the doorbell rang.
felix and his sister stood be the door as his parents opened it and greeted the hwang family.
"this is my daughter, seowon, and my son felix!"
"hello, it's pleasure to meet you." seowon said with a bright smile, shaking their hands.
"h—hello." felix stumbled on his words, shaking their hands.
"nice to see you again, felix." the son of the hwang's, the one felix recognized from that day months ago.
"h—hello." felix said again, cracking a small smile.
"we prepared chicken cordon bleu for tonight." his father said to mrs. hwang, as they all made their way to the kitchen.
felix completely zoned out as he played with his food, taking occasional bites. he wasn't listening to the conversation between the others and genuinely didn't feel like joining in so he stayed silent.
"felix, how old are you if you don't mind me asking?" as soon as felix heard his name, he looked up at the woman sitting across from him.
"i—i'm seventeen." felix said quietly, "oh, you're the same age as hyunjin!" mrs. hwang said with a bright smile on her face.
"maybe you two could be friends?"
"sure!" hyunjin said quickly, a smile similar to his mothers on his face.
"why don't you two go up to felix's bedroom and get to know each other?" felix's eyes widened at his fathers words.
he looked at him and gave him a look, but his father gave him a look as well, making felix bite his tongue and nod his head.
the two teenagers went upstairs and into felix's bedroom, "s—sorry, it's k—kind of messy right now." felix stuttered, immediately picking up the dirty laundry and putting into the laundry basket.
"it's okay, my room looks the same." hyunjin laughed, sitting down on the bed.
"you have a nice room, i wish i could put up posters." hyunjin mumbled, looking over all the posters that were messily pinned to the walls.
"thanks... your parents don't let you put up posters?" felix asked hesitantly, sitting down at the desk.
"no, the paint and stuff is too expensive to be ruined or something like that." hyunjin huffed.
felix frowned, "that kinda sucks.." he mumbled, "it's no big deal honestly." the older of the two brushing it off.
"sure, but you should be able to put up posters, y'know..."
"can i get your number, if it's okay?" hyunjin asked, pulling out his phone.
"o—oh.. sure." felix said awkwardly, pulling out his own phone.
the two exchanged phone numbers, and continued to talk about random things, turns out they actually have quite a bit in common.
"wait, so you play pubg?" hyunjin asked after laughing.
"yeah, it's fun!"
"my parents don't even let me play those kind of games, i only play mario kart or something!" the brunette explained, making felix gasp.
"you've never played pubg?" he asked, holding a hand over his mouth. hyunjin shook his head, making felix offer to teach him.
"please, i always see ads for it." hyunjin said as felix got up to turn on his console.
hyunjin jumped when there was a loud knock on the window, which then opened and none other than han jisung crawled through.
"hey lix..— who's this?" jisung asked, wearing a black sleeveless shirt and black ripped jeans, hair freshly dyed blue.
so basically, he looked hot. but of course felix couldn't say that out loud.
hyunjin turned around, about to introduce himself but he froze.
"h—hyunjin..?" jisung asked quietly.
"y—you know him?" felix asked, noticing how they both stared at each other.
"what is he doing here?"
