felix was wondering around the small town, as the rain drenched him. soaked to the bone, feeling so incredibly cold.

but still, the freezing rain calmed his nerves, and he laid down on the ground in the middle of the road.

a choked sob fell out from his lips and he began sobbing loudly, his cries echoing all around him.

he couldn't stop his cries, the hard splatters of the rain almost silencing him out.

there was bright light in front of him, making him look up and see a car coming his way. he only put his head back down with a sigh.

much to his dismay, the car stopped in front of him and a guy got out.

fucking hell—

"excuse me? are you okay?" the male asked, standing over the other with a umbrella.

felix just stayed silent, and continued to let tears fall from his eyes. the male hadn't noticed though, due to the raindrops covering his skin.

the male went back to the car, and soon came out with another boy and a blanket.

the two males helped him up and draped the blanket over the freezing figure of the freckled boy, and lead him over to their car, letting him sit in the back seat.

felix was shivering silently, but still managed to fall asleep to the slow hiphop playing from the radio.

——

"what was he even doing?"

"why hasn't he woken up yet?"

felix woke up to the not-so-quiet whispers and groaned, startling the two males who were standing a few feet away.

"y—you're awake.. he's awake!" the blonde one said to the brunette.

felix looked around the room, "what the fu—"

"hey kid, are you okay? we found you laying in the middle of the road." the brunette asked out of nowhere.

felix sat up, "where am i? w—who are you?" he asked, staring at the two males in front of him.

"relax, did you not just hear what i—"

"minho, please! he just woke up, he's probably scared—"

after a few minutes of the two bickering over nothing, the blonde one walked up to felix and sat in beside him.

"i'm chan, that's minho." the blonde guy said with a kind smile, "we found you laying in the middle of the road, while it was raining."

"we didn't know what to do, so we just brought you to our house." felix let out a quiet "oh.." and nodded.

"uhm... do you have anyone that—"

the male got cut off by the door opening, and a short male walked in. "hey guys, we brought food." he smiled, before noticing felix who was sat on the couch.

"who's that—"

"hey, me and ch— felix?"

"jisung?" felix questioned, standing up.

"you know each other?" chan asked with confusion.

"what are you doing here, are you okay?" jisung asked, rushing over to felix and engulfing him in a warm hug.

felix breathed in his scent and nodded. "yeah, i'm okay." he mumbled quietly.

"how do you guys know each other?" chan asked, staring at the two who were still hugging.

they both pulled away, felix longing for the warmth again but didn't say anything.

"he's my best friend." jisung smiled, looking down at the younger who was now sat on the couch.

felix felt his cheeks go red and immediately looked away, playing with his fingers. he felt the stares on him, and tried his best to ignore them.

"ohh, him! well, i'm changbin!" the dark boy smiled, holding his hand out.

felix shyly grabbed the hand, "f—felix.." he stuttered out quietly.

soon enough, the two friends left the house and began walking home together. "so... you talk about me to your friends?" felix hesitantly asked.

"all the time, how could i not?" jisung smiled, making felix shyly smile back.

felix stayed quiet for a second, before speaking up again. "w—what do you talk about..?" he asked, ignoring jisung's lingering eyes.

"your voice, looks... especially your freckles." jisung smiled.

felix chuckled a little, letting the older continue.

"your personality, your smile, your laugh, your music taste. everything, to be honest. i love talking about you." he said, whispering the last part.

"w—why though? i just don't see how i'm that 'amazing'.." felix mumbled.

"no! you're the best, lix. i could talk about you forever. that's how great you are." jisung said, staring into the youngers eyes.

felix blushed and tried to hide by looking down, when jisung lifted his chin up.

felix stared at jisung lips, before looking back into his eyes.

they both leaned in, so close that felix could smell jisung's scent of cigarettes.

felix closed his eyes, ready for it when they heard a mans voice yell "fa**ots!"

the two friends quickly pulled away, felix looking down awkwardly while jisung scoffed.

"what the fuck did you just say?" jisung asked, his anger getting the best of him.

jisung was about to walk over to the man, when felix stopped him. "it's okay, sung. don't listen to him." he whispered.

jisung glanced at felix and nodded, "don't say that shit to me ever again or you won't be so lucky, asshole." he threatened, walking away with felix close by his side.
