James spun around to face severus with a shocked expression.

" Potter! what are you doing! Doesn't that hurt-"

" you used to date AVERY?"

Severus sighed and threw the towel on the desk. He crossed his arms and leaned on the table opposite of james, looking back at him.

" yes. Yes i did."

" wait so are you....... you know? Into guys?"

Severus cringed and poked James leg that got hexed. James jerked his leg back in pain and looked back up at severus. Severus clicked his tongue and adverted his gaze.

" no. Im pan." Severus said looking down, arms still crossed.

James nodded in understanding and pursed his lips.

" so why did you split?"

Severus looked up to james and cocked his head to the side.

" because he pulls shit like this. Whenever i talked to someone he didnt like or trust then he would go after them. I was kinda half expecting this to happen but I didn't think he would actually do it."

" why didnt he trust you?"

" i dont know. Maybe because of how we started. I kind of cheated on my last relationship to be with him. And being pan didnt really help either."

" what why?"

" he always thinks im attracted to everyone. Which isn't true, just because gender doesnt matter to me doesn't automatically mean i dont have standards." Severus said as he grabbed the towel and went back to the potion mixture.

He dipped it one more time and wrung it out but not all the way. He wiped James' back again until it was good enough for his standards and started to move onto his leg.

" take off your pants."

" jeez Snape, already?" James smirked teasingly. Severus snapped his fingers then pointed to his pants.

" off. Im not gonna soak the potion through your pants." He said as he turned away for his privacy.

" what your not gonna take it off for me?" James teased more.

" why do you want me to?" Severus turned his head to the side and looked back at james.

James stammered then looked down and started blushing.

" s-shut up." He stuttered, his teasing facade ceasing almost immediately.

Severus chuckled and turned his head back around as james removed his pants.He winced because of his leg but it wasnt as painful as his back so he dealt with it.

He folded it and placed it next to his shirt.

Severus turned around and crouched down to his knees and inspected James' leg.

" you know its really uncomfortable that im almost naked sitting in front of you?"

" and you dont think it is for me?"
