"Tapos na duty mo? Sana all, hindi pa ako natutulog mula kahapon."

It has been 5 years since I broke up with Chloe. It has been hard for me in the past years since med school was really stressing me out and I don't have my breather which was her. I can't say that I already moved on from her 'cause honestly whenever I'm alone I would just tear up, remembering her.

"Yeah, whatever. Get out." sabi ko kay Gello habang nagbabasa ako ng notes. Katatapos lang ng duty ko at mas pinili ko na dito na muna ako sa hospital tutal ilang oras na lang din naman ay magduduty na ako.

"Oh? Sino nanamang iniisip mo? Si Evie 'no?" Gello asked again. Bakit pa kasi dito sa ospital namin napili ni Gello magtrabaho e, sumasakit 'yung ulo ko sa kaingayan ng lalaking 'to.

"Just get out." Sabi ko at binasa na ulit ang notes ko.

Miah and him didn't stop asking about Chloe for the past years and whenever they ask my mind is just flying somewhere else. Sinara ko na lang ang notes ko at natulog na, may kama rito sa opisina ko sa hospital para hindi na ako umuwi ng condo tuwing gusto kong matulog at sayang sa oras.

My next duty was 4am to 4am the next day. It was tiring, given that I also have showbiz commitments and other thoughts that's bugging me at night so I can't really sleep as much as I want to. That's why I woukd just study after my duty in order for me to sleep immediately as I lie down.

"Caleb, someone offered you to guest in a concert next week."

I was in my unit reading when my manager suddenly called me. My brows furrowed and stop reading when I heard what she said.

"I don't have time." Sabi ko.

"What? Sayang naman, 'yung manager pa nung artist 'yung mismong nag-offer sa'yo." Sabi n'ya.

For the past years I haven't been that active in my singing career since I chose to prioritize med first. My mom would constantly bug me about it so I decided to just be cool with my singing and just focus on med, my latest concert was even a year and a half ago and I don't have any plans to have a new one again, at this moment of course.

"Ah!"

I immediately catched the woman in front of me when I entered the Arena. Her shoes were kinda slippery maybe because of the rain outside. She slowly stood up, not looking at me so I don't really know who she is.

"Miss, are you okay?" I asked.

My jaw dropped when she turned her gaze back and faced me. I immediately looked away and still processing the thought of me seeing her. So, she's the one who will have the concert? Good thing, I accepted the offer.

"Just be careful. You might fall again." I said and walked away.

I was smirking on my way to the staff. Since the rehearsal was postponed, I came back to the hospital, I just read some notes and decided to go home. On my way out of the hospital I saw a commotion outside.

It was the media bugging Addie. After a little chat with them I went home and I saw Clyde going down the stairs and holding his white coat. He stopped in front of me.

"Duty?" Tanong ko.

"Yeah." Sagot n'ya.

"Goodluck." I tapped his shoulder.

"Thanks, Kuya." Sabi n'ya at umalis na.

Pumasok ako sa kwarto ko at naligo lang saglit bago humiga sa kama. I got my phone and smiled when I saw my wallpaper, which is Chloe. It was her picture when she received her first international award. I got it from her Instagram when she posted it, she looks very happy.
