Chapter 66 The Final Battle Begins

Author's note: I realize Skip's sister's name was Sabrina at first than changed to Luna so I'm gonna just keep it as Luna.

Kion looked back seeing more and more wolves charge Makucha's team but the Vultures and Squirrels gave air support. "Kion we have to keep going right?" A voice called from beside him and when he looked over it was Fuli and she looked determined. Kion nodded and looked ahead running with the Lion Guard, Night Pride, Kiara, Kopa, Vitani, Kovu, Nuka, and Leo. "Alright, everyone. This will be tough. We'll be going up against Sabertooths, Kiba, and Zira, so with that said here's the plan. Night Pride and Lion Guard will work together to fight the Sabertooths. Kopa and I will deal with the two leaders. Zira and Kiba." Everyone was in agreement with Kion's plan as Pride Rock could be seen in the distance. Ono and Anga flew up higher to do some recon to see if they could spot any of Zira's forces before they reached Pride Rock.

Meanwhile...

The Hyena's charged headbutting with wolves. Makucha stood on a rock looking around seeing more and more wolves coming. "I knew the Metal Fang was big..but this is just too many wolves." Meu and Leu leaped past Makucha pouncing on two wolves crushing their backs from the impact. "OI MZINGO!!! WHAT DO YOU SEE UP THERE!?!?" Makucha yelled as he leaped off the rock to engage in combat with more wolves. Mzingo dropped his firestick and he flew up higher to get a better view. Mzingo could see wolves and their generals advancing, "Seiko told us the Metal Fang had eight generals in the Metal Fang."

Makucha rolled to his side as a claw missed him and he jumped back as a wolf lunged at him. Leu headbutt ahead jumping into the fight, "They don't stop coming." Makucha rolled his eyes as Leu and Meu were in front of him fighting. Makucha looked near the outskirts near Pride Rock, "We just need to hold out long enough until Zira is defeated." Makucha's thoughts were stopped as he heard howling as more and more wolves started running for them. Jasiri leaped upon a rock, "THIS IS OUR TIME FRIENDS!!!! FOR THE PRIDE LANDS!!!!" Jasiri called out as the Outlanders cheered into battle. Above them Mzingo and the vultures charged with backup from the flying squirrels. Makucha, Meu, and Leu lead the push on the front lines as both sides charged at each other. Makucha saw they almost were there, "NOW COMMANDER!!!" Makucha shouted.

As the wolves charged the sound of running could be heard and when they looked to their sides a small group of Sabertooths revealed themselves as Kazi was leading them. "DEFENSIVE FORMATION!!!!" A general shouted. As the wolves took their stances the sides clashed into a full-out brawl. Wolves howled in pain from attacks as some Outlanders and Sabertooths got hit by claws and bite marks. Janja jumped on one's head as Jasiri tackled the wolve to the ground, "SLAY THE ENEMY FOR THE NEW EMPIRE!!!!" Another general shouted. Makucha, Leu, and Meu were back to back as wolves started to surround them. "So Makucha where would you be if you were still on their side?" Leu asked. Makucha rolled his eyes annoyed, "Keep your eyes focused on the fight." 

"Aw but your so attractive Makucha," Leu teased.

"Get a cave," Meu commented.

"QUIT IT BOTH OF YOU!!!" Makucha shouted annoyed. Both Leu and Meu started laughing as the wolves leaped for them and they got ready to fight back. "Live a little Makucha....we may not live long after this." Leu stated grimly and they looked at him, "Gee thanks for being the optimist brother"." Meu commented as they were once again surrounded by wolves. As the wolves around them grinned their eyes widened looking behind them and they ran. Leu, Meu, and Makucha looked up seeing Vultures fly by dropping Fire sticks. 

Far away six dark-coloured wolves watched from afar, "It seems General's 7 and 8 have fallen and squads 1-4 have either been taken out or ran away." General 2 was informing the others and General 1 smirked evilly. "They can only fight for so long. At the end of the day, we have the numbers meaning their defeat is inevitable." The Wolf generals leaped off their rocks and advanced as all their squads moved out.
