Last Time...

Kion and Makucha continued to fight at the Volcano in an attempt to save the outlander leaders and Vitani, Kovu, and Nuka. Makucha reveals that even though Kion believes their attack on the Volcano is smart, Makucha mentions how this attack left a blind spot for their friends at the cave. Meanwhile near the cave, one of Kazi scouts noticed an army on its way and before he could warn the others he was taken out by a new commander.

Zira's commanding officer contiued to lead a small army to eliminate Kazi and the resistance once and for all. The commander faced his group, "Listen to me everyone" He called quietly, all the sabertooths looked at each other than the commander. "Today is the day we finish off Kazi and the resistance" The Commander ordered.

As the commander finished talking a scout ran over to him and bowed, "Commander Shadow" The Sabertooth greeted. Shadow looked at the scout, "Rise, young one and tell me what you have to report" Shadow replied. The scout looked at Shadow, "Commander the cave is not too far away I saw a few sabertooths guarding and I saw Kazi and a Lioness just outside the cave" The Scout reported.

"Onward then" Commander Shadow stated as he lead the way to the cave...

Meanwhile at the Tree of Life...

Nirmala was sitting inside healing a fox, once she was done the roots went back to their brown colour. "Thank you you're majesty" The Fox thanked, Nirmala smiled, "No problem just be more careful" Nirmala warned as Makini lead the Fox outside.

Alex walked over to Nirmala, "Still worried?" Alex asked, Nirmala noded, "I just hope they're okay" Nirmala answered thinking about Rani and the Lion Guard. "I think we all are worried Alex" Bailyo stated as the Night Pride entered.

Alex looked at the whole Night Pride, "Like Buku, Janna, and Mufasa have told me, have faith and patience if they need us we will learn when" Alex explained. Bailyo looked at Alex, "What if they can't tell us" Bailyo stated. Surak swiped his paw and hit Bailyo, "Ow!" Bailyo shouted rubbing his head. "Bailyo, let's listen to Alex he is right" Surak agreed.

Before Bailyo could say anything else Ullu came flying in, "NIGHT PRIDE! NIGHT PRIDE!" Ullu shouted landing on a branch above them. Nirmala got up and looked up, "Ullu what's wrong?" Nirmala asked. "WOLVES!!!" Ullu shouted, "Wolves?" Everyone questioned, "I thought all the wolves were with Kiba and Ruby in the Pride Lands" Bailyo thought.

"It wouldn't hurt to check, let's check it out Night Pride" Nirmala suggested as Ullu flew up leading the way back to where she saw the wolves.

Ullu circled in the sky and the Night Pride reached the border but saw no one, "You sure this was the place?" Bailyo asked Ullu. Ullu looked down, "Yes Bailyo, this was where I saw the wolves" Ullu answered. The Night Pride looked around not seeing anything, "Ullu you sure becuase there is no wolves here" Surak asked again. "I'm positive" Ullu insisted, as Bailyo turned the corner Nirmala saw Bailyo go flying as a wolf was on top of him.

"Woah!" Bailyo called as the wolf growled at him, "WOLF! stand down!" Surak called about to charge. But before he could 6 more wolves appeared blocking the way. "There are more" Ullu pointed out flying from above the fight. Nirmala looked at the wolves, "Get off my friend, and leave the Tree of Life" Nirmala ordered. The wolf looked up from Bailyo to look at Nirmala, "Said's who" The wolf said bitterly.

"The queen of the Tree of Life" Ullu stated, the wolves looked at each other, "Seiko what should we do," One of the wolves asked the wolf who was on Bailyo. "Damn it! don't get distracted Finn!" Seiko snapped. Before the wolves said anything else they heard a yell from above, "FINN! SEIKO! WOLVES! DON'T!" A female wolf yelled jumping down landing beside Seiko. 

"GET OFF OF HIM NOW!!!" She growled at the wolf, Seiko and the wolves stopped and stood with the female wolf. Nirmala looked at these wolves better, "Wait...they are not Kiba's wolves" Nirmala started. "Well yeah they are not the same colour these ones are light brown and white" Bailyo pointed out.

"HOW DARE YOU ASSUME WE ARE WITH KIBA THE TYRANT!!!" Seiko hissed, but when he hissed the female wolf gave him a death stare and he retracted. The Female wolf looked at Nirmala and kneeled, "Kneel she is the queen here" She whispered to her wolves. The wolves kneeled and Seiko was the last to kneel and they rose.

Nirmala, Surak, Bailyo, and Ullu came closer to these wolves, "Why are you here?" Nirmala asked the female wolf. She smiled, "Long story but in short, your friends are in danger" She explained. "WHAT!" The Night Pride said in unison, "Like she said a long story" Finn added, Surak looked at the wolves. "Why should we believe you?" Surak asked.

"Becuase they are old friends," Alex said standing behind the Night Pride, the Night Pride turned in surprise as Alex and the female wolf looked at each other. "Looks like you have grown Alex" The Female wolf stated smiling. "Same could be said for you too" Alex smiled back, Alex turned to face the Night Pride.

"I know this is confusing but I will explain it all but one thing you should all know is this is Violet, leader of this pack, Seiko and Finn are her most loyal followers and bodyguards you could say and they are not with Kiba" Alex explained. "What are they then?" Nirmala asked. Alex looked at Nirmala. "They are..Ethiopian Wolves"
