Chapter 19 Survival of the Fittest

(Animal Groups) Wolf Pack{Kiba and Ruby's}, Flying Squirrel Pack Beaver Pack {Alex's colony}, Sabertooth Pack {Fang}

The pass has completely fallen on itself dividing the Outlands, Pride Lands, and Backlands making it hard to travel between lands. Fuli let go of Kion as they panted and the others went to them. Kiara nuzzled Kion, "Glad your ok Kion" Kiara commented but when she looked at Kion he looked broken. Kiara went to Fuli, "What happened back there?" Kiara asked whispering, Fuli looked down, "We lost one of our own" Fuli answered. When she said that Kiara's eyes widened and Skip looked around. "Hey, where's Rani?" Skip asked, Kion moved and looked at Skip, "She's gone" Kion answered as another tear went down his face. The Lion Guard and allies all looked down in a moment in silence.

Fang stopped and let go of Leon who still cried and Fang coughed, "When I find Kiba and Makucha I'll make sure they...." Fang was about to swear. "DAD LEO'S GONE CAN WE AT LEAST GIVE HIM A MOMENT OF SILENCE!!!" Leon cried and shouted. Fang backed up and his ears dropped, "Your right we should have a moment of silence" Fang metioned. Both Fang and Leon closed their eyes for a moment of silence and Fang let a tear come out as he remembered.

"WELL-WELL-WELL LOOK WHO HAS EMOTIONS" Makucha called, Fang opened his eyes and quickly turned to protect Leon and he saw Makucha and Kiba. "YOU FILTHY BACKSTABBERS YOU LEFT US BACK THERE TO DIE AND MY SON GOT KILLED BECUASE OF IT AND I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOU!!!!" Fang Shouted in rage threatening them as his claws were coming out. Before Fang said anymore Kiba and Makucha moved and Zira emerged from behind, "Relax Fang I told them to do so" Zira revealed. Fang quickly hid Leon, "WHY!!!" Fang shouted, Zira peaked and her eyes widened seeing that Lion. "You told me your two sons were sabertooths, not a sabertooth and a Lion" Zira commented. Leon looked at his father in confusion, Zira looked at Leon, "Aw he looks so precious" Zira commented.

"Leon stay behind me" Fang ordered, Leon listened but was scared and confused, "Leon? wow, you even made up a name for him" Zira questioned laughing evilly. Leon looked even more confused and Zira noticed. "Aw did your dad not tell you the truth," Zira asked, "Truth?" Leon questioned. "DON'T LISTEN TO HER!!!" Fang yelled, Leon's head was hurting and he was having a flashback. 

Leon P.O.V

I was in the tall grass again I was bleeding and someone was calling that name again......KOPA the creature called. The same name Kion kept calling me, I was scared and hurt but when a saw the creature I couldn't believe my eyes it was ZIRA.

"That's it I'm taking my son and I'm leaving" Fang explained about to grab Leon and leave but when he looked he saw the wolves were forming around them. "I don't think so" Kiba smirked, Fang growled as Leon was near his father's chest. "KILL THE SABERTOOTH AND BRING ME THAT LION!!!" Zira ordered. Kiba howled and his wolves attacked, Fang attacked and made sure Leon was safe. Some wolves bit him but he shook them off and pierced through them with his claws to kill them.

Fang barked in the sky and Kiba noticed, "That's not good" Kiba commented. As it was quiet the sound of barking could be heard and more sabertooths were on the way to help the Alpha. The sabertooths formed a circle around their injured leader and son. "PROTECT THE ALPHA!" A Sabertooth yelled. The wolves and sabertooths growled at each other, Zira walked to face them, "He may be your Alpha but he's not a good leader" Zira explained. The Sabertooths were confused, "Did you know your Alpha has lied to you about his other son" Zira revealed. The Sabertooths looked at their leader confused. "Alpha hat is she saying?" A Sabertooth asked. Leon looked up at Fang who was speechless, "Or would you like to tell them how you killed one of your own" Zira added. The Sabertooths were shocked by hearing that. "ALPHA! Tell us she is wrong" A Sabertooth insisted.

Fang looked up, She speaks the truth" Fang admitted with shame, the Sabertooths let their guard down as they were shocked. "Leon is not really Leon" Fang revealed, Leon looked up at Fang. Fang looked down at Leon, "I'm sorry I lied to you" Fang apologized. Leon backed up and his head hurt as he saw a haunting image of Zira. That's when it clicked to Leon, "I'm Kopa" Leon told himself realizing. Zira smiled evilly, "Yes you are and I thought I finished you all those years ago" Zira metioned. Kopa didnt know where to go but he was scared straight. "SABERTOOTHS IT'S TIME TO CHOOSE TEAM WITH A LIAR, AND A MURDERER OF YOUR OWN KIND, OR JOIN ME AND LIVE!" Zira shouted.

Fang looked and actually saw more than half of the Sabertooths turn to Zira and devote their allegiance. But the small percent of sabertooths stood by Fang, "Oh well you made your choice KILL THEM ALL!!!" Zira ordered. Kiba, Makucha, the Wolves, and Zira's new outsiders charged, Kiba's loyal followers charged to block. "ALPHA WE WILL HOLD THEM GET LEON...I MEAN KOPA OUT OF HERE!!!!" A Sabertooth yelled. Kopa was scared but Fang grabbed him, "HANG ON KID!!!" Fang shouted as he grabbed Kopa and started to run. Zira looked at her forces, "FINISH THIS FIGHT!!! I have a Lion to kill again" Zira explained taking her time following them.
