For The Pride Lands (The Lion Guard Sequel)

Chapter 69 Aftermath

Several Mintues went by after Zira died but around Pride Rock the Lion Guard and all their allies were on the ground. On top of Pride Rock Simba and Kion stood and they looked at each other. They both looked in the air and started to roar loudly multiple times and Skip stood on Leu.

"What's going on?" He asked,

"Simba and Kion are roaring to inform any animals in hiding that the Pride Lands are safe once again," Nala informed as she looked at Kiara and Kovu who were smiling at each other. Shortly Kion came back and went to Fuli and nuzzled her relived it was over. Simba looked at everyone and cleared his throat. "As King of the Pride Lands. It is my full privilege to thank every single one of you for not just saving our land but for saving the animals that live here. When things were looking grim you didn't give up and with that said the Pride Lands will forever welcome you." Simba bowed and everyone paused seeing Nala and Rafiki joined bowing for them and Leu smirked. "Wow, the King of the Pride Lands bowing for us." Makucha bonked him on the head and Leu rubbed his head in pain and looked at Makucha.

Simba got up and looked at them, "Now with that out of the way. I'm honoured you all came to help us." Rani stepped forward, "Trust me your majesty we owe it to the Lion Guard they helped saved the Tree of Life," Rani commented.

"Helped me save my sister," Skip added,

"Helped us escape the Volcano" Janja added,

"Saved us from Zira and her army" Kazi added,

Kion and the Lion Guard smiled seeing everyone talk but Kion started talking, "Don't just thank us. The Lion Guard could have never done this alone. Thank you Skip and Flying Squirrels. Thank You Kazi and Leo's Sabertooths. Thank you Night Pride. Thank you Jasiri and the Outlanders. Thank you Kopa. Thank you Vitani, Nuka, and Kovu. Thank you Violet and her wolves. Can't believe I'm saying this but thank you Makucha." Kion was thanking everyone and Simba and Nala could see even more all the help Kion got to save the Pride Lands. Simba looked at the others, "Will you be staying in the Pride Lands or?"

"Meu, Makucha, and I are planning to venture the Backlands," Leu commented happily as Makucha rolled his eyes even though he smirked.

"I think it's time I return back to the Tree of Life and continue to rule over with its future King." Rani smiled looking at Leo and Leo looked at her in surprise, "King?" Kazi laughed as he looked at Simba, "The Sabertooths follow the Alpha which was Kopa but Kopa passed it to Leo so I guess the Tree of Life is our stop." Skip smiled, "Tree of Life is always our home so that's where we're going." Everyone looked at Violet and her wolves and she paused for a moment to think, "We're taking Kiba back to the Orignal Wolf Den and I'm gonna rebuild what my parents started." Seiko and Finn smiled showing they were going to support her the whole time. Kion looked at everyone, "Well before everyone goes let's celebrate one last night together as a large group and then go our ways the next day." Everyone was in agreement and they all took preparations for a final celebration.

Leu was running as Fuli zoomed past him as they were racing, "God cheetahs are so fast." Leu fell and Makucha and Meu laughed. Bunga and Skip were having a bug-eating contest as Outlanders cheered on. Kovu and Kiara were both walking together talking to the Elephants who were the first ones to return. The wolves and Sabertooths had friendly duels to test strength and Seiko tapped out as Kazi got off. Violet rolled her eyes as she hopped into the ring and Kazi was ready to brawl. Across the Pride Lands, many animals were enjoying their times as the dark atmosphere Zira created was starting to vanish. Leo sat on the ground as Rani laid her head on his lap and he smiled. Leo was looking at the stars cutely and Rani admired Leo and she thought about how Alex was right that she would meet someone. Rani got up and licked Leo and Leo eyes widened as he was embarrassed but then he nuzzled Rani and they both laughed.

As everyone was goofing off or having some time with their lovers on top of Mpango Cliffs Vitani and Kopa laid on their backs looking at the stars. Kopa held Vitani as she nuzzled close to Kopa's chest. Kopa pointed with his paw, "Look at that constellation," Vitani looked at it and smiled but she started to shift her vision to Kopa and she nuzzled against his chest. Kopa looked down and smiled, "I love you Vitani."

"I know that" Vitani laughed but as they laughed they saw a shooting star and Vitani pointed it out. "Make a wish Kopa!" She closed her eyes making a wish and Kopa closed his eyes but opened them looking down at Vitani smiling. Vitani opened her eyes and saw Kopa looking at her, "Something wrong?" Kopa nuzzled her. "No, I just have nothing to wish for." Vitani rolled her eyes, "Gee Kopa your so Sappy," She teased. Kopa laughed a little as they both continued to Nuzzle under the stars like when they were younger.

Back on Pride Rock Kion sat there looking around seeing everyone happy and laughing and he looked into the sky. His vision was blocked and he smiled as Fuli covered his eyes, "Hey Kion!" Fuli called. Kion leaned his head on Fuli and she smiled as she sat beside him, "We did it Fuli..." Kion commented. Fuli nuzzled Kion, "Yea we did the Pride Lands are safe once again." Kion looked at Fuli and licked her cheek and they both looked at each other as their noses touched. Fuli couldn't help but smile and Kion smiled back as they nuzzled each other, "You know Kion we can all finally get a good night-" She paused hearing light snoring. Fuli looked and saw Kion fell asleep and she put her paw on his mane and smile and licked his nose. "Sleep well Kion you deserve it." Fuli rested her head on Kion's as she looked out to the Pride Lands seeing it's luscious terrain and nature.

"It's good to be home."
