Chapter 18 The Quake

(Villians) Zira, Makucha, Ora, Chuluun, Kiba, Ruby, Skip, Mama Binturong, Fang,

(Animal Groups) Wolf Pack{Kiba and Ruby's}, Flying Squirrel Pack Beaver Pack {Alex's colony}, Sabertooth Pack {Fang}

Fuli headbutts Makucha away and she ran to the edge and peeked out and saw holes all over the place. "Skip what's going on?" Fuli called, Skip flew down and attacked a wolf and flew back up into the sky. "It seems the roar has caused the entire pass to rumble meaning the ground and cliffs are becoming unstable" Skip explained. A giant rock fell behind them almost hitting Fuli, "You think" Fuli rephrased after nearly dodging. Fuli looked around and saw rocks falling and everyone was still fighting, "We need to get out of here," Fuli told herself continuing to look around. Fuli looks at Anga and Ono, "Anga! Ono! We need a way out!" Fuli called, Ono and Anga split from the battle to find a way out. Fuli looked back to see how Kion was doing below with the sabertooths.

Kion was dodging Leon's attacks not attacking him, "Kopa! listen to me, Please" Kion begged, "HOLD STILL!!!" Leon shouted trying to hit Kion. Leo looked at Rani not moving his claw down and Fang noticed from a distance, "FINISH HER!!!" Fang shouted. Leo stood there unable to do so, Fang was about to yell again until he saw the crack opening near Leo. "SON WATCH OUT!!!" Fang yelled instead. But Leo didnt see it coming and he fell back and his claws plunged into the wall as he hung on.  Rani opened her eyes and saw Leo hanging on and she was stuck, "Why do I want to help?" Rani asked herself. "RANI BEHIND YOU!!!" Fuli yelled, Rani turned and Fang slapped her into the wall. "That's what you get!" Fang scoffed heading for Leo. Fang looked up near the cliff edge, "MAKUCHA! KIBA! I NEED HELP!" Fang shouted.

Kiba and Makucha looked and saw more rocks falling down, "The area is getting worse," Kiba told Makucha. Makucha faced the fight on the cliffs, "TROOPS! RETREAT AND REGROUP!" Makucha yelled ordering. The villains hit their targets away and started to retreat, the sabertooths looked at Makucha and Kiba, "The Alpha is still down there" A Sabertooth metioned. "We'll help him the rest of you retreat" Kiba insisted. The Sabertooths listened and fell back retreating. Fang hopped from rock to rock as the ground was starting to split and spread, before Leon could hit Kion the ground shook and Leon and Kion were separated. "KION!" "LEON!" Two voices yelled. Kion and Leon looked and Rani and Leo hang on the edge starting t slip.

Makucha and Kiba stick their heads out, "Perfect come down and help me save my sons" Fang advised. Makucha and Kiba looked at each other and smiled evilly, "Sorry Fang but every predator for themselves" Kiba said. "WHAT!" Fang yelled, "I agree, If I were you I'd get out as fast as you can" Makucha suggested. Fang noticed they were turning and starting to leave, "MAKUCHA! KIBA! GET BACK HERE NOW!!!" Fang shouted. Makucha and Kiba ran away not looking back.

Kion and Leon slid in grabbing their friend, "Hang on brother" Leon told Leo, "Hang on Rani" Kion told Rani. Leon looked to his father, "Dad help" Leon called, "Sorry sons but this is personal" Fang replied as he ran heading for Kion. Fangs claws extended outwards as he ran, "KION WATCH OUT!!!" Rani shouted. Kion removed one paw to block but he knew it wouldn't be enough. Kion heard the sound of clashing and he opened his eyes and saw Fuli and Kiara blocked for them. "ANGA! ONO! MZINGO! SKIP! DO IT!" Fuli yelled, from Fang's sides the bird allies pecked on his side. "STAY AWAY" Fang grunted in pain, Kion tried to pull Rani out but a rock fell and hit his back and Kion yelled in pain. Rani looked at Kion, "Kion let go" Rani told him. Kion eyes widened in shock, "NO! I CAN'T!" Kion replied. "Kion you're getting to hurt your hurt from the fight and the others are busy let me go and leave" Rani explained.

 Leon looked and his grip was slipping, "Brother your not strong enough to pull me out" Leo told him. "Leo I'm getting you out of...this.." Leon grunted struggling. "I loved having you as a brother" Leo was saying. "Don't talk like that" Leon barked, Fuli looked up at the Lion Guard, "GO GET OUT OF HERE WE'RE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!" Fuli ordered. Anga and Ono flew up to lead the others to safety. Fang kicked Fuli and Kiara away, Fang was getting behind Kion. Fang raised his claw ready to attack. But Fuli ran and headbutt Fang away, "STUPID CHEETAH!!!" Fang yelled in anger getting up.

Leon had tears as he was losing grip and Leo put his head near Leon's and nuzzled, "I'm Sorry" Leo whispered before Leon lost grip and Leo fell into the quake. "LEO!!!" Leon cried as he watched Leo fall. When Fang saw that his heart dropped, and he smacked Fuli away and ran to Leon and grabbed him. "DAD! LEO'S  DOWN THERE!" Leon yelled, Fang had tears as he ran with Leon away. Kion's grip was slipping as well and Fuli started to run to get to them..... "RANI!!!" Kion cried loudly as he lost grip. "THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! I'LL NEVER FORGET IT" Rani called before she disappeared below. Kion was frozen in fear, and guilt,  Fuli ran to Kion, "Kion we have to get out of here" Fuli explained as the place was coming down. Fuli and Kion ran as the pass was collapsing and Leon cried watching the pass crumble down and Fang refused to look back becuase he would feel even more guilty.
