Chapter 5 Goodbyes

(Pride Landers) Kiara,

(Lion Guard) Kion, Fuli, Beshte, Ono, Anga, Bunga, Makini

(Night Pride) Rani, Nirmala, Surak, Baliyo, Scout, Ullu, Queen Janna(Deceased)

(Villians) Zira, Makucha, Ora, Chuluun, Kiba, Ruby, Skip, Mama Binturong, Fang

(Animal Groups) Wolf Pack{Kiba and Ruby's}, Flying Squirrel Pack Beaver Pack {Alex's colony}, Sabertooth Pack {Fang}

(Other Animal Characters) Pinguino, Chase, Buku (Deceased), Alex

Kiara follows Kion and the Lion Guard and when Kiara looks around she sees all the animals of the Tree of Life gathered near the tree. Before they walked down Kion looked back at Makini, "Makini aren't you coming?" Kion asked. Makini walked over and looked at Kion, "Kion I feel my place is here at the Tree of Life" Makini answered. The Lion Guard stopped looking at Makini, "Makini are you sure?" Bunga asked. Makini looked at the Tree of Life then at Nirmala and Alex and she looked back at the Lion Guard, "Janna once told me this place would be the best place for me to complete my training and become a royal mjuzi, Nirmala and Alex promised to help me on the way and I can help the Tree of Life" Makini explained feeling passionate and Kion noticed and smiled. Kion looked at Makini, "If that's what your heart is telling you then so be it, we'll miss you Makini" Kion reassured and metioned. Before Makini said anything the entire Lion Guard came over to Makini hugging her.

After the hug, Kion looked around, "Ok gang ready to head out" Kion asked looking around to everyone coming. Skip and his squirrels nodded, Mzingo and the outlanders nodded, the Lion Guard nodded, Chase nodded, and Fuli and Kiara were by Kion's sides ready. As Kion and all his friends were about to leave Rani looked around and felt something. "WAIT!" Rani blurted out, when Rani did that Kion turned with the guard and everyone looked at Rani. "I want to come with you" Rani revealed. The animals of the Tree of Life gasped surprised and the Night Pride did the same. Kion looked at Rani, "Rani I understand you want to help us but you're a queen you can't just leave your kingdom" Kion suggested. Rani stood on a rock so everyone can see and hear her, "I know this will seem surprising but hear me out, after facing some roadblocks as queen I need time to find myself, time to find something....but don't worry I won't forget about your needs that's why for the time being I want to make Nirmala queen" Rani explained and revealed.

Nirmala backed up surprised, Alex smiled as he noticed Rani took his advice and Alex stood standing on the rock as well looking at Nirmala. "Well, Nirmala what do you say?" Alex asked Nirmala looked around and the animals calmed down and smiled but she felt unprepared, "Me....queen...I" Nirmala stuttered. "Don't worry about it Nirmala you're not alone" Baliyo reassured. Nirmala turned and saw the Night Pride and Surak walked forward, "Baliyo, Rani, and Alex are right Janna trusted you to heal with the Tree and Rani is trusting you to be queen in her absence, while Rani was away you did well while she was gone and we have no doubt you will do fine" Surak explained reassuring Nirmala. Nirmala looked back at Rani and she had her paw out, "So Nirmala what do you say?" Rani asked. Nirmala stood there for a few moments and then smiled and grabbed Rani's paw as she pulled Nirmala up. Makini came back with blue paint and Alex stood in front of everyone, "Animals of the Tree of Life" Alex called dipping his fingers into the paint starting to put a symbol on Nirmala head.

After putting the symbol on Nirmala Makini backed away and Nirmala stood forward, "I present to you.....Queen Nirmala" Alex announced. When Alex made the announcement the animals cheered and clapped and the Lion Guard, Night Pride, and friends did the same. After several minutes Rani nuzzled and said goodbye to her Night Pride and waved goodbye as she joined Kion, the Lion Guard, and others to help save the Pride Lands. When they reached the mountain pass they could see faintly everyone waving but above the Tree of Life the clouds glowed and Mufasa, Janna, and Buku were in the sky smiling. Kion, Rani, Fuli, and Kiara smiled seeing the three of them and they all turned back continuing to leave and start the Journey to the pride lands.
