Chapter 61 Duel of Leaders

(Ethiopian Wolves) Violet, Seiko, Finn

(Night Pride) Bailyo, Nirmala, Surak, Ullu

Seiko looked around seeing two dead wolves and Kiba was bleeding from the side of his head, Seiko dived off the hill and charged for Kiba. 

"KIBA!!!" Seiko shouted,

Kiba jerked his head hearing Seiko and before he could react Kiba was tackled by Seiko and they rolled into the forest. Violet raised her head seeing Seiko come in like that and she looked at Alex seeing his eyes were drifting off.

"Hey! Stay with me!" Violet shook Alex as she applied pressure to the cut near Alex's side where he got hit. Alex opened his eyes slowly and smiled seeing Violet and he put his hand on her cheek, "I'm sorry, I should of told you sooner". 

"This is all my fault, I'm sorry" Violet started to blame herself for what has happened....

A couple minutes before...

Alex looked at Violet in the eyes, "I don't think your crazy" Alex commented,

Violet looked at Alex and at that moment they both realized a feeling that they haven't felt since they were childhood friends. Alex looked at Violet, "Violet, there is something I need to tell you" Alex stated.

"What?" Violet asked sounding concerned it was something bad,

"Violet, I l-," Alex was cut off by a howl they could hear and Violet turned her head hearing it from where she ran from. "The others, they must be in..."

"Trouble" Kiba finished.

Violet and Alex rose up and saw Kiba smirking evilly as he was on the other side of the clearing and Violet stood in front angry. 

"KIBA!" Violet growled,

"Hello Violet, maybe it's about time we end this thing once and for all" Kiba suggested, Alex tried to stop Violet sensing it was a trap. Violet looked at Alex, "I got this, I can handle him" Violet replied as she looked back at Seiko who smirked evilly.

"Let's duel, the winner controls the metal fang and the loser dies" Kiba explained the conditions of the duel. 

"Agreed" Violet stood strong,

"Violet maybe you should..." Alex was about to say before interrupted by Kiba,

"Just watch little beaver," Kiba stated as Violet and Kiba glanced at each other ready to begin the duel. "No help from outside sources got it" Violet added, Kiba nodded and then they both charged at each other beginning the battle to determine the leader of the metal fang.

Alex watched scared as he saw two wolves apart of Kiba pack watch from the distance as Kiba and Violet charged. Violet raised her claw to strike downward and Kiba raised his claw up to block and the sound of their claws clashing roared in the forest.  As they battled Alex stood back on the side lines watching Violet he he felt worried for her and he realized something.

"I should of said it earlier, I'm been starting to realize that Violet has meant more to me. I don't know why I've been so oblivious to the signs when we were younger. We spent so much time together, we did so much things together, but yet I failed to notice we both started developing feelings. But when I looked at her something just made me feel she was someone I wanted to know more about....someone I want...to...love" Alex thought as Violet and Kiba were dueling each other.

Kiba looked at Alex and smirked at Violet,

"Please, the mighty wolf plans to marry a  cowardly beaver?" Kiba criticized,

"He's more a wolf then you will ever be" Violet hissed,

Kiba laughed evilly rolling to the side and he looked at his wolves on the side lines and gave them a head signal and they smirked evilly and backed away into the forest. Violet went in for a bite and Kiba grunted in pain as Violet bit down on his arm. Kiba shouted in pain but quickly slammed his open paw and hit Violet head and she hit the ground and rolled away from Kiba.

Violet was on the ground out and Seiko smirked evilly, "I win" Seiko raised his claw up ready to kill and Alex got up refusing to let Seiko do so. Beofre Seiko could land the hit Alex ran and slapped Kiba with his tail.

"Violet!" Alex called,

Violet opened her eyes slowly seeing Alex, "Why? Why? would you do that?" Violet asked.

Alex leaned in and kissed Violet and her eyes widened in shock and then she closed her eyes embracing it until they stopped. Violet and Alex looked at each other, "Violet I love you" Alex revealed. Violet had the biggest smile on her face as Alex helped her up and they limped away.

Kiba eyes opened slowly and his vision was blurry and he put his paw on the side of his head and saw blood. Kiba looked to the rock beside him and saw blood, "Stupid beaver" Kiba hissed furious of what happened.

The two wolves came back to Kiba side, "Sir, the general has launched his attack on Kion's team" The Wolf explained. Kiba ignored the wolf and got up and ran to Violet and got his claw out as Alex and Violet hugged Alex saw Kiba coming and he quickly pulled Violet and turned around so his back was facing Kiba.

Violet expression changed quickly seeing Kiba and his claw perice Alex's side,

"ALEX!!!!!" Violet shouted as she held Alex, 

Kiba tried to kill violet but she grabbed Kiba's paw before he could reach and she twisted it and stabbed her claw into Kiba arm and he howled in pain. The two wolves charge to attack and Violet kicked Kiba away and Violet slashed her claw sideways. She slashed the throat of both wolves mid air and they dropped to the ground and she quickly went to Alex and started crying.

Kiba stood strong with his bloody claw and Seiko arrived and saw from the hill.
