Chapter 31 Operation Volcano

"EVERYONE GET BACK!!!" Mzingo shouted flying up as rocks were starting to fall from above, the Sabertooths got up and ran away from the debris as it was falling. Before the rocks fell onto the entrance Mzingo saw Kion along with the others run out. After the entrance was blocked Leu stood up, "Well that was fun" Leu commented.

"Yeah...fun" Kopa replied sarcastically wiping off the dust on him, Beshte and Kazi put Leo down and the other Sabertooths gathered around. Ono landed on the ground, "We need to set up a camp somewhere so they can heal" Ono suggested. Kazi looked at Ono, "I know the perfect place" Kazi suggested as he started to head out.

Everyone followed Kazi and as Rani walked she looked at Leo who was laying on Beshte breathing but still unconscious. Kion and Fuli looked at Rani and frowned as they contiued to follow Kazi into the Outlands. Kopa looked and saw an abandoned cave, "What's this?" Kopa asked, Kazi and the Sabertooths set up. "This used to be one of Fang's outposts near the Volcano we can use it for the time being" Kazi explained.

After several minutes Leo was laying on the ground and Kazi was making a remedy, Kion looked at Kazi. "You're a commander, fighter, and healer?" Kion questioned surprised, Kazi looked at Kion. "I was trained to do all three becuase Fang's army never had the numbers but we had the skills" Kazi explained. Rani looked at the bandages Kazi put on her, "With rest, your wounds will be healed in no time" Kazi explained smiling.

Kion and Kiara walked away to Kopa who sat outside alone looking at the Volcano, as Kopa looked his vision was blocked. "What are you looking at Kopa?" Kiara asked covering Kopa's eyes with her paws and removing them smiling. Kopa smiled, "Just thinking about Vitani and the others in the Volcano" Kopa answered. Kion and Kiara sat down with Kopa, "Don't worry Kopa, we'll find a way" Kion explained.

"I know Kion, but the question is how?" Kopa added, as the three siblings looked Skip and Anga landed down in front of them. "Security hasn't changed it's still secure from the outside" Anga reported. Kopa sighed, "If we start a fight they might hurt the others inside" Kopa explained, Skip looked in the cave and had an idea. "Leu! Meu! come here" Skip called, Leu andMeu walked over and looked at Skip.

"What's up?" Leu asked curiously, "You said you want to redeem yourself and join back with Kopa's Sabertooths right?" Skip asked. Leu and Meu nodded in agreement, "I have a plan Leu and Meu can be forgiven and how we rescue the others" Skip explained. "How?" Kopa asked Skip, "Gather the others and I'll explain" Skip answered heading into the cave.

Everyone was gathered with Skip while Two Sabertooths tended and watched Rani and Leo, "So what's the plan Skip?" Kopa asked eager to know. "Leu and Meu will bring us to them" Skip revealed. Everyone looked at Skip in confusion, "You want them to bring us in?" Bunga questioned. "Think about it Kiba and Makucha don't know Leu and Meu are with us if they pretend to capture one or two of us we can sneak in and break the others out" Skip explained. 

"Then when everyone is rescued we don't have to worry about them hurting them" Kion pointed out, "Then we can launch an attack with the rest of our forces on the Volcano" Kopa added. Kazi smiled, "Once we take the Volcano we'll be one step closer and Zira ill only have Pride Rock" Kazi pointed out. Leu and Meu looked at each other than Skip, "What if we fail?" Leu questioned.

"Don't think like that Leu, Skip is right if we want Zira's reign to end we have to do this" Meu told Leu. Leu looked back at Leo and Rani then looked around at Kion and the Lion Guard and then the allies and then the Sabertooths. "Ok...were in" Leu sighed agreeing to help and do the plan Skip suggested. Bunga smiled and rubbed his hands, "Yes! Operation Volcano" Bunga cheered. "Operation Volcano?" Beshte questioned.

"Yeah the name of our mission to rescue the others" Bunga explained, Skip looked at everyone, "We leave tomorrow at sunset" Skip explained and at that everyone agreed and split up to prepare for the night. Kion and Fuli walked over and stood with the Twosabertooths and saw Rani was sleeping right beside Leo. Kion and Fuli smiled and they nuzzled and Kazi looked at Kopa.

"Alpha you have the decision now" Kazi explained, Kopa sighed, "I don't know how to tell him" Kopa explained to Kazi. "How do I tell Leo Fang is dead that will be heartbreaking, what if I lie to him" Kopa pointed out and asked. Kazi put his paw on Kopa's shoulder, "Kopa don't do that listen the truth may hurt a little while but a lie will hurt forever, tell him the truth before he finds out the truth" Kazi explained. "Thanks, Kazi" Kopa sighed thanking him, "No problem Fang ordered me to help the new Alpha and that's what I'll do" Kazi explained smiling.
