Chapter 28 Meu and Leu

(Animals) Leo, Kopa

On the Surface, the commander of Fang's Sabertooths was talking to Kopa about what Fang said before he died. Kopa backed up in shock, "I'm sorry What!" Kopa objected, The Sabertooth looked at him. "Since you are technically the only descendant left of Fang, we follow your rule as the new Alpha" The Sabertooth explained. Kion looked at Kopa, "Why not Kopa you do seem like the leader type" Kion commented. Kopa looked at Kion, "I just got my memories back Kion I don't know If I can lead Sabertooths" Kopa explained.  "But there are only like ten of them the others are on Zira's side" Bunga pointed out. Everyone looked at Bunga, "Too soon" Bunga asked.

Before they contiued on, Anga and Ono flew back ready to report, "Anga! Ono! What did you find?" Kion called asking them. Anga and Ono landed in front of Kion and the Lion Guard allies, "We flew near the volcano and we saw it was protected tightly, Sabertooths and Wolves outside and who know how many enemies are inside" Anga explained. "We don't know if Makucha, Ruby, or Kiba are there or if all three of them are there" Ono added.

Everyone looked at Kion, "What's the plan Kion?" Fuli asked, Kion looked up at everyone.  "We rescue our friends in the Volcano then we take the fight to Zira" Kion ordered. Kion lead the way and everyone followed, Kopa looked behind him and saw the Sabertooths followed and Kiara looked at Kopa. "Something wrong Kopa?" Kiara asked, Kopa, looked at Kiara as they walked. "Do you really think I can lead these Sabertooths?" Kopa asked, "You can try" Kiara answered. "How? I'm not ready" Kopa explained, "Neither was I" Kion added walking beside Kopa. Kopa looked at Kion confused, "What do you mean?" Kopa asked, "I wasn't ready to lead the Lion Guard but with some help, I learned you have to adapt" Kion explained to Kopa.

Kopa smiled, "I'll give it a try," Kopa told Kion and Kiara as they all contiued their way to the Volcano. As they walked Fuli was with Kion and they smiled at each other, "Let's hope Jasiri and the other Outland leaders are still there with Kovu, Vitani, and Nuka" Kion told Fuli. "Don't worry Kion, Jasiri is strong and we'll help free them" Fuli reassured.

At the Volcano, Jasiri looked at Janja, "You okay Janja?" Jasiri asked. Janja stood rubbing his arm, "Yeah just a little burn" Janja explained. "I hope you have a plan Jasiri?" Rei Rei asked, "Just wait Rei Rei, Kion and the others are sure to come" Jasiri hoped. "Jasiri you've been hoping that since we got captured" Kiburi metioned. Kiba walked over to the cage, "Will you shut up already" Kiba insisted annoyed. "Make us" Vitani scoffed, Kiba looked at Vitani, "Don't make me throw you and in the lava" Kiba hissed. "Leave my sister alone wolf" Kovu called, Kiba turned and looked at Kovu ready to pick a fight. "Leave them alone already" Makucha scoffed, "Our job is to watch them not throw them into the Lava" Makucha explained. Kiba rolled his eyes, "Yeah-Yeah-Yeah I know" Kiba mocked sitting down.

The Lion Guard was half-way there and as they were walking Kopa looked out in the distance and saw two sabertooths running. Kopa turned to look at the commander, "Is that one of your guys?" Kopa asked. The commander looked and quickly looked at Kopa, "No Alpha that is one of Zira's Sabers they have a different mark" The Sabertooth explained. Kopa told Kion and Kion quickly told their flyers and they flew over. The Sabertooths ran, "We should have helped the boss" Sabertooth one said. "And fight her again hell no" Tiger Two responded. "ANGA LENGA!" Anga shouted diving down hitting Tiger One. Tiger Two looked and Ono and Skip hit Tiger Two and he went flying into the ground.

They grunted and got up but when they saw the flying animals they also saw an army of animals coming and Kion was leading them, "NO! PLEASE! WE SURRENDER!" They shouted raising their paws. When the commander of Kopa's Sabertooths looked at them he knew who they were, "Meu and Leu" The Saber growled. "Commander Kazi!!" They shouted together. Kopa looked at the commander, "How do you know them?" Kopa asked, Kazi looked at Kopa. "They used to be warriors on Fang's army until they changed sides" Kazi explained, but Kazi looked confused. "Where is your other brother?" Kazi asked, The two Saber's looked at each other then didnt say anything.

"Answer the Question" Kazi urged, "We left Seu behind" Meu spat out as Leu looked disappointed. "Leu, Meu, and Seu?" Bunga questioned hearing their names, Kazi looked at Bunga. "They are triplets" Kazi explained, Kion looked at them, "Why did you leave Seu behind?" Kion asked, Leu and Meu looked at each other. "RUN!" Meu shouted, Leu and Meu turned to run but they bumped into Beshte and fell back and they grunted in pain.

Kion noticed the marks on Leu and Meu's fur, "What happened to you?" Kion asked, "It's nothing" Leu insisted as they covered the marks standing up. Kopa grabbed Leu paw to reveal the mark and before Meu could hit Kopa the sabertooths growled and Meu retracted quickly. "So you're the new Alpha" Leu commented looking at Kopa. Kopa ignored him as he looked at the wounds and he walked over to Kion, "Their pretty deep, sharp claws most likely are the cause" Kopa whispered.

As the Lion Guard and the allies whispered Meu and Leu looked at each other, "We can't tell them about Rani and Leo in the cave" Leu explained. "I know brother but if we stall them long enough Leo will bleed out and by the time they find out it will be too late" Meu explained smiling evilly.
