Leo and Rani continued the walk but Leo stumbled and Rani turned and looked, "Leo are you okay?" Rani asked concerned. "I'm fine it's just my leg" Leo answered getting up slowly, Rani helped support him and he looked at smiled, "Thanks Rani" Leo thanked as they continued to move.

"Don't mention it" Rani reassured, but once again they were quiet as they walked...

Leo P.O.V

I don't know what to do anymore something inside is telling me to talk to Rani but what do I say. Why is it every time I say her name my heart starts racing...

Rani P.O.V

How do I explain why I keep helping Leo...I mean I would help anyone in this type of condition but something is different about Leo.

But as they walked Leo felt a sharp pain in his leg and fell, Rani looked quickly and bent down, "Sorry Rani I just can't walk anymore" Leo explained. Rani was about to say something, "Just go Rani save yourself" Leo told her. "NO! I'm not leaving you in this cave alone and that's final" Rani snapped. Leo stopped and looked surprised how she acted, "Sorry Leo" Rani apologized.

"No it's fine but the way you said that...why?" Leo asked, Rani, looked down, "It's a long story but I'll make it short" Rani explained. "My parents died when my brother and I were young and Queen Janna watched us grow up and eventually Queen Janna died, and then Kion almost died" Rani explained. Leo's ears raised hearing Rani's story of her loved ones, "I can't lose another friend" Rani stated. "Friend?" Leo questioned surprised, Rani blushed, "Sorry right you're a sabertooth and I'm a" Rani was going on before Leo put his paw on Rani's paw.

"I'm glad you consider me a friend it makes me feel different" Leo explained, Rani and Leo exchanged looks and smiled. Rani then cleared her throat, "Ok but you should stay here and heal up I'll find an area we can rest" Rani explained. "Be careful" Leo advised as Rani limped away to find a spot for them.

Leo P.O.V

Why did that feel nice the way her paw felt the warmth the fact that I was trying to help her now. Maybe I really did misjudge Rani...is it possible I feel something...

Rani P.O.V

I can' believe that happened only people close to me know about that and I told Leo, do I consider Leo a friend...or...more. Maybe Alex was right telling me to find something else outside the Tree and what if this was it.

Rani continued to walk and she stopped as she stumbled upon a dead end, "Well that's not it" Rani sighed turning around to find another way. Rani went back and went left to find another cave, or water, or something.

Leo sat there waiting for Rani to return, "I wonder what's taking her so long" Leo questioned. But as Leo stopped to think he heard walking and he looked to the shadows, "WHO'S OUT THERE!" Leo called. The Shadow emerged and revealed a sabertooth tiger, "Oh am I glad to see a familiar face" Leo sighed in relief. Tiger Two was shocked to see Leo, "Leo...hello sir" He greeted still in shock. "Help me up and we need to find Rani so we can all get out" Leo suggested. "The Boss was right Leo and Rani are really alive" Tiger Two thought. As he helped Leo they limped and Leo thought, "Why would he be so surprised. Leo looked on the shoulder of Tiger Two and saw his father's clan symbol wasn't there and his eyes widened.

"So Tiger quick question?" Leo asked, Tiger Two looked at Leo skeptical, "WHERE'S MY FATHER!" Leo shouted pulling his claw out blocking Tiger Two's strike and they clashed. "YOU TRAITOR!!" Leo shouted seeing Tiger Two planned to kill him. "WELL, MAYBE IT'S TIME WE KILL THE HEIR!!!" Tiger Two shouted attacking Leo. Leo blocked but with his injuries, he wasn't at full strength.

Leo rolled on the ground and hit the wall and Tiger Two pounced forward charging to Kill Leo, Leo ducked and the Tiger hit the wall. "STAND DOWN!" Leo called to the Tiger, but it kept attacking to kill him. "HOLD STILL!" The Tiger shouted, but when Leo leaped back to dodge he felt a sharp pain in his leg and the Tiger hit him. Leo rolled and hit the wall and he yelled in pain, "Poor thing" The Tiger sighed sarcastically. Before Leo could get up he looked ad saw two more Sabertooth tigers with him. "Idiot we were supposed to kill the Lioness first then Leo" Tiger Three ordered.

"Leave her alone!" Leo grunted trying to stand up, Tiger one slapped him down into the ground and hit the wall again. Leo coughed and blood came out, "I guess we have to kill him" Tiger One suggested. Tiger Three rolled his eyes, "Fine...but let's make him feel pain" Tiger Three ordered as his claw extended. Leo backed up scared seeing the three tigers with their claws out.

Rani smiled seeing an open area, "Finally! I just need to head back and get Leo" Rani told herself. "NO! PLEASE! AHHHH!" Leo scream was echoing down the cave, Rani's ears raised quickly and she ran to the sound. She ran as fast as she could even with her leg injury, "No, No, Why did I leave him! Please be okay Leo" Rani told herself running to find Leo.
