Chapter 27 Sabertooths Strike

(Animal Groups) Wolf Pack{Kiba and Ruby's}, Flying Squirrel Pack Beaver Pack {Alex's colony}, Sabertooth Outsiders {Zira}

(Animals) Leo, Kopa

Leo was hit around a couple of times and he was bleeding and he felt sore all over but he got up to attempt to defend himself. Sabertooth one looks at Sabertooth three, "Boss, he's still alive" Tiger one reported. "I can see that, we want him to die slowy not fast" Tiger Three explained, Leo stood blocking Tiger two's attack and Leo cut the Tigers leg. Tiger two fell back, "Argh!" He grunted in pain. Tiger One charged and headbutted Leo and he went flying into the wall and fell to the ground. Leo looked up and things looked blurry and his hearing was deteriorating, Leo grunted as he looked up at the Three sabertooths closing in.

"Hold him still" Tiger Three ordered, Tiger one and two ran in and pinned Leo's paws and Legs and he was stuck. "Please...stop" Leo begged feeling pain as he wasn't strong enough to break their hold. Tiger Three took his claw out, "Don't worry Leo I'm not going to kill you yet...I want you to suffer" Tiger Three explained sinisterly approaching Leo. Leo squirmed to get free but it wasn't working, "NO! NO! PLEASE!" Leo yelled at the top of his lungs.

Rani was limping as fast as she could as she kept hearing Leo's screaming and she shed a tear as she attempted to get there. "How could I be so foolish, Leo is in critical condition and I left him alone" Rani blamed herself. When Rani turned the corner her eyes widened as in the distance she saw two sabertooths holding Leo down and one sabertooth with a bloody claw and Leo laying there with his eyes closed. "LEO!" Rani called down the cave, and when she yelled the sabertooths looked and saw her. Tiger Three looked and smiled evilly, "Tiger Two go deal with her while we finish up here" Tiger Three ordered. "Yes, Boss" Tiger Two responded letting go of Leo's paws running to attack Rani.

With determining looks Rani ran to attack ignoring her injury and when the Tiger tried to strike her, Rani rolled underneath him and kicked him into the wall headfirst and the Sabertooth was instantly knocked out. "Boss she looks angry" Tiger One metioned, "She is just a lioness go kill her" Tiger Three ordered Tiger One. Tiger One got up reluctantly and was charging for Rani, Rani kept on charging and Tiger One was actually nervous. In an instant, they clashed claws but Tiger One felt overpowered. "BOSS SHE LOOKS REALLY ANGRY!!!" Tiger One shouted trying to block Rani, Tiger Three stopped hurting Leo and looked and saw Rani slashed her claw on the side of the Tiger's face and then kicked him into the wall and he was knocked out too.

Tiger Three out of reflex grabbed Leo lifting him up and Leo moaned in pain and Tiger Three placed his claw near Leo's throat. "CAREFUL LION OR HE GETS IT!!!" Tiger Three shouted threatening Rani, Rani stopped and wiped her eyes to avoid tears. "PUT HIM DOWN!" Rani growled, Tiger Three looked over Rani's shoulder and saw his men getting up. "KILL HER!!!" He shouted, When they got up Rani turned and growled and they quickly turned, "FORGET IT!!!" They shouted running heading for the exit. "COWARDS!!!" Tiger Three shouted as he was alone,

Rani looked back at the Tiger but she looked less angry when Leo opened his eye and saw Rani, "Rani" Leo grunted softly. "SHUT IT!" Tiger Three shouted punching Leo in the face and Leo grunted and moaned in pain before passing out from the hit. "What do you want?" Rani asked, "I WANT BOTH OF YOU DEAD!!!" Tiger Three shouted back. Rani looked around thinking how to help Leo, Rani looked up near the Sabertooth head and saw loose rocks. "Anything you want to tell you're friend before I end his life" Sabertooth Three asked. Rani nodded, "Yes, In fact, I do" Rani replied. Rani roared on the top of her lungs and it was high pitch and it made the sabertooth cover his ears and drop Leo.

Within that Second Rani rolled in and turned her body and kicked the Tiger in the face knocking him all the way into the wall causing a big thump. When he hit the wall he fell and when he looked up the rocks were moving about to crush him, "NOOOO!!!!" He shouted before the rocks crushed him. Rani watched and she quickly turned and saw Leo bleeding and she ran to Leo, "Leo! Leo! wake up, please" Rani begged shaking him. Leo coughed and squinted seeing Rani and smiled, "I'm.....sorry," Leo said softly. Rani shed a tear and bent down to hear him better, "For what?" Rani asked. Leo put his paw on Rani's face wiping her tears, "I should have said it before...but...Rani..." Leo tried to say as he was closing his eyes.

"LEO!" Rani cried, Leo looked at Rani and smiled, "I.....love you" Leo revealed before his paw hit the ground and he closed his eyes. Rani bursted into tears and quickly put her paws on Leo's chest pushing hard, "NO! I'm not letting you die, Leo...Stay with me, Please" Rani told herself performing CPR on Leo. Rani pressed down on Leo's chest and listened for a heartbeat but heard nothing. As Rani cried tears landed on Leo's chest and Rani looked at Leo. "I LOVE YOU TOO!" She cried contiuing to press down on Leo's chest. Rani then tried something different she went to Leo's mouth and breathed in to give him oxygen and she contiued compressions she repeated the process of compressions, breaths, listening for a heartbeat.

Alex was sitting on a rock meditating with Makini and instantly he fell and Makini woke up and ran to him. "Alex are you okay?" Makini asked. Alex looked at Makini, "No the Lions of the past showed me something and it doesn't look good" Alex explained. Makini backed up scared, "What do we do?" Makini asked. "We tell the Queen the right now!" Alex explained packing his stuff and quickly leaving heading back to the Tree of Life.
