Chapter 12 Welcome To The Backlands

(Lion Guard Allies) Skip and flying squirrels, Rani, Mzingo and Outlanders, Chase, Kiara

(Villians) Zira, Makucha, Ora, Chuluun, Kiba, Ruby, Skip, Mama Binturong, Fang, 

(Animal Groups) Wolf Pack{Kiba and Ruby's}, Flying Squirrel Pack Beaver Pack {Alex's colony}, Sabertooth Pack {Fang}

After Zira's story, Fang left Pride Rock and was headed to his den in the outlands to meet with his pack and as he reaches it a sabertooth comes and greets him. "Sir" The Sabertooth greeted bowing, "Where is Leon, and Leo" Fang asked. "They are training in the field" The Sabertooth answered, Fang, nodded and left heading for the field. In the field, there was a young Sabertooth tiger and a Lion training together. The Sabertooth tiger and the Lion both had brown fur but the sabertooth teeth were sharper. "Leo! Leon!" Fang called, Leo and Leon look and smiled and both raced to their father, Leo the sabertooth got there first and Leon caught up and they both nuzzled their father.

"Father we were just training" Leo explained, Fang smiled, "I can see that, that's great" Fang replied. "Dad is something wrong?" Leon asked, Fang, smiled evilly, "No son things are perfect but both of you should go freshen up becuase we need to get ready" Fang advised. "Is it about those outsiders you talked about?" Leo asked. "Yes son, now both of you prepare" Fang advised one more time. The two brothers ran together racing back to their den and Fang smiled watching them run. "So sir how did the talk with Zira go?" A Female Sabertooth asked approaching Fang and kissed him. Fang kissed her and looked at her, "Well, I found out more about the past and it intrigues me" Fang answered. "Want to tell me about it?" The Female asked. "It's a long story I'll tell you later Nova" Fang assured starting to walk away from his wife.

The Lion Guard and allies have travelled far and they still follow Skip, In the Sky, Skip and Ono are talking. "Hey, Skip have you figured it out yet?" Ono asked. Skip sighed, "No, I still don't understand what my brother was trying to say, don't trust the what?" Skip kept thinking. "I hope it wasn't important" Ono suggested. "I hope so too" Skip added agreeing with Ono. "Skip! How much further?" Kion asked. Skip looked back and smiled, "Not much further Kion" Skip replied, the Guard and allies continued and this area looked familiar. "Everyone we're in the backlands" Skip advised. Everyone smiled, "Skip's right we just have to go past the waterfall, and we'll be in the outlands, then we'll be close to home" Ono explained. 

Skip flew above Chase, "So Chase if you don't mind me asking what's a ferret-like you doing to help us?" Skip asked. "Skip!" Kion, Fuli, and Rani called, Chase looked at Kion, Fuli, and Rani, "No it' ok" Chase assured. Chase looked at Skip, "Kion asked for help and I may be small but my size could help us get intel if we need to be sneaky" Chase explained. Skip was hesitant but he turned and flew up and continued to lead the way. Kiara looked up and saw the sun was setting, "Kion maybe we should set up a camp in a cave for the night" Kiara suggested. Kion looked at Kiara, "Kiara were so close we can't stop now" Kion protested. Fuli placed her paw on Kion's shoulder, "Kion we're all tired from the fight and Journey here were going to need more energy to fight Zira and her forces" Fuli reassured and explained.

After Several Minutes they found a cave and they got a fire started and anyone that could fly rested on the ledge above in the cave while the others choose their spots. The Lion Guard had a section, Outlanders, while Chase and Rani slept alone in the corners.

It was dark and Chase peaked his eyes opened and saw everyone was sleeping, he got up and left the cave. Chase ran up a hill near a tree and sat down waiting, "Well look who it is" Someone called from behind. Chase turned defensively but sat down again seeing who it was. "So how are things, Chase?" The creature asked. "The Lion Guard and all its allies are all sleeping in a cave near the waterfall in the backlands" Chase explained. The creature stepped out of the shadows revealing himself, "Brillant, I knew to pretend to Chase you and kill you was the perfect infiltration plan" Fang revealed. Chase nodded as he was having a flashback from day one.

{Flashback To Fang and his people before meeting Zira}

"Listen up everyone it's time we get our revenge on Rani and her night pride and help avenge Kiba's mission" Fang instructed. "How do we do that sir?" A Sabertooth asked, "Glad you ask my friend here is Chase, you two will pretend to eat and kill him and Chase him near the mountain pass, the Night Pride will rescue him and he will be our insider" Fang explained smiling evilly.

Fang smiled evilly, "Makucha, Kiba, and their forces are in position, head back to the cave and when the time comes, we will end the Lion Guard and all their friends" Fang explained evilly. Chase smiled evilly before leaving heading back. Fang looked at Chase run, "Very soon I will kill Kion and destroy the Lion Guard" Fang told himself planing sinisterly.
