I woke up the next morning to an empty room. It was Saturday morning so I had absolutely no idea what got Pansy out of bed. But now that I was thinking about it, I don't remember seeing Pansy last night. Well, that could be an issue.

I threw my blanket off of me and went to take a shower.

When I got out, I wrapped myself in a towel and walked out to my room. I opened my dresser drawer to take out an outfit, but I couldn't find the shirt I wanted. I looked around the room and noticed it was under Pansy's bed. It probably fell under there when she made a mess of the room trying to pick out an outfit like she always does. I kneeled down to picked up the shirt and notices something next to it.

A Gryffindor tie.

That's not right.

I picked the tie up from under the bed and as I stood up, the door opened and Pansy came inside. I turned around and the smile she had on quickly disappeared when she saw what I was holding.

"Pansy," I said to her. It was a tone that expressed that I wanted an explanation as to why of all things, a Gryffindor tie was under her bed.

"You're up early," she tried to distract me.

"Pansy," I said more aggressively.

"It's not like that," she walked over to me and grabbed the tie out of my hands, putting it in her pocket.

"Whose?" I asked her. She looked down, to the side, played with her hands, everything just to avoid the question.

"Whose, Pansy?" I said again with a tone that demanded she answer me.

"McLaggen," she raised her voice at me as she turned to look at me.

"Why," I whispered. She knew just as well as I did that he was a huge player. Sure Draco had girls drooling over him left and right but he never really got with any of them. He never thought anyone was worthy of him, but that wasn't the point. McLaggen was known for having a new girl leaving his room practically every day. He was a huge flirt.

She got mad at that and scoffed at me.

"Pansy, you know the type of person he is, I don't want to see you get hurt is all," I tried to reason with her.

"Well, it's not really your decision, to begin with. Besides, I know the consequences. I know the type of person he is and I'm fully ready for what could happen, but I don't think it will happen with me. It's different between us, alright?" She was mad at me for telling her what to do. I thought I was being reasonable. I was trying to get her to see what she's doing, but she was right, it's not my place.

"Alright then," I said to her. I took the shirt, picked up a pair of jeans and some underwear, and went into the bathroom. I changed but still stayed in the bathroom. I didn't' seriously want to be in a standing fight with Pansy because of some boy. I took a deep breath and went back into the room. She was sitting on her bed, flipping through her notes. I went over to my nightstand and packed my black shoulder bag with the book Draco had "given" to me, chapstick, my wand, and a blanket. I closed my bag and put it over my shoulder. I went over to the door and as soon as I put my hand on the doorknob, I heard Pansy start talking to me.

"I'm really sorry, Y/n. Look, I know you're just worried for me and I really appreciate it, I do, but I promise I know what I'm doing." I turned around to look at her. "We good?" she asked with a sympathetic look on her face.

I nodded, "We're good." She jumped up off her bed and gave me a hug. "So what's he like then?" I asked her just to be nice. I really shouldn't have asked. She pulled me over to her bed and proceeded to tell me a whole bunch of things, which included things I wish I never knew. That list included but was not limited to his choking kink, the fact that he liked throwing Pansy onto the bed for no apparent reason, and that they had broken his bed on not one, but two occasions. I wasn't completely sure if that was qualified as wrestling or not at that point.
