"I don't see them, do you see anything?" I leaned into Blaise's side and looked at him for any sign that he saw something. He was straining his neck to look over the other student's heads and hats, but it didn't look promising.

"Nothing." He looked over at me with a frown on his face.

"Who do you think is gonna come back first?" Draco asked, nudging me in the side.

"There are other ways to get my attention, Malfoy," I hissed, putting a hand over where his elbow had hit my ribs.

"Well sorry, your majesty," he jokes, bowing his head in an exaggerated manner. "But seriously, answer the question. If not you then Zabini." He looked between the both of us and I scoffed.

"Any of them would be lucky enough to make it out. Someone already sent up a flare though, so it's not promising," Blaise commented, letting us all know where he stood.

"What? You think they're all going to die in there?" Draco raised his eyebrows in shock, but then that smirk we had all come to recognize appeared on his face. "You think Potter will be the first?" I smacked the back of my hand against his chest and his hand held onto where I hit him. "Ow."

"They're going to be alright, no one's going to die. Regardless of what either of you think." I glared between Draco and Blaise who stood on either side of me. Draco snickered to himself and Blaise put his hands up in defense.

"There you guys are!" I heard Pansy's voice chirp from behind Draco. His expression immediately dropped and he inhaled sharply.

"Hey Pans, where have you been?" I moved my head past Draco to see her, and she was already too close to him for his liking.

"Draco said you guys would be over in the Durmstrang section so I was over there this entire time. I saw Blaise just now and then you and figured this is where the party is, you know?" She peered over at Draco every few words and smiled at him, causing him to inch away from her, but careful not to get too close to me. You know. Cooties.

"Draco said?" I repeated. Pansy nodded. I looked at him, an expression that asked him why the fuck are you like this, without actually asking him.

"Hey, not my fault." He raised his hands in defense and laughed but tried to cover it. "I thought we'd be over there rooting for Krum but then Blaise found these seats in the middle and they just seemed perfect. I guess I forgot to tell you." He looked over at Pansy but quickly turned back to face me and Blaise.

"It's okay Dracy-poo, I forgive you."

"I never said I was sorry," Draco muttered, but Pansy was too busy drooling over him to notice.

"It's been over an hour, why aren't they back yet?" I stood on my toes and tried to look over everyone. Many people were seated, exhausted from waiting for anyone to come out. A red flare had shot up a while ago and the professors had gone into the maze and retrieved Fleur from the tall brushes. She seemed torn up and nervous about what she had seen, but all the girls were too far away for me to hear.

I was sitting with my back resting up against the bleacher behind me, and Draco's head resting on my shoulder. We'd never been this close before but we were both tired and I didn't even bother to shove him off.

I was talking softly to Blaise about his summer plans when we heard yelling from the base of the bleachers. Draco jolted awake and looked over at me, then looked away as fast as he could, almost as though he couldn't believe what he had just done. I stood up and looked down through the crowd. The band was blasting the Hogwarts March with their instruments and people were cheering, waving their flags in the air, and jumping up and down.
