hi real quick, I forgot that I needed to build up to the actual scenario I wrote so it's actually the next chapter instead of this one, I apologize, but anyways, happy reading!

DRACO'S POV

I stood there, watching her leave me in the middle of the corridor. I felt my chest ache.

She was still right there, I could still see her, and yet I did nothing to stop her.

I held my head in my hands. She chose to leave me and as much as I didn't want it to happen, maybe I had to.

No.

I felt something when I was around her. Ever since the beginning of summer when she started coming over, all she's ever done is made me smile, laugh, and even dance on occasion. I looked up to go after her, but she was gone. There was no trace of her and I had no idea where she could have possibly vanished to. I had missed her and now she's Merlin knows where.

I had to try and fix this, except I had no idea how.

I tried to find her, but it was as though she became invisible. Was she hiding? Was it just a coincidence that I entered every room she just left?

I walked into the common room late at night after having spent all evening looking for her. I just wanted to talk to her, to try and work it out, but there wasn't a trace of her in this entire bloody castle. I saw Blaise sitting on the couch and Luna on his lap. She turned to face me over the couch.

"Oh, hey there, how are you?" Luna asked in a soft voice. I sighed shaking my head down.

"Pretty awful," I mumbled, looking up at her. She had such a sweet smile on and Blaise had his arm wrapped around her waist. She kept her arms wrapped around his neck and I felt jealous. I was jealous of them. I want that but I just had to go and mess it up before we got the chance.

"Hey mate, what's going on, huh?" Blaise asked, nodding his head up at me.

"Nothing really, I'll see you tomorrow." I started walking up the stairs, not waiting for a reaction or a response. I spent all evening running around the castle trying to find this girl, but not a soul had seen her. Did she fall off the face of the Earth? I opened my door and threw myself onto my bed, not even bothering to change.

Y/N'S POV

After leaving the Great Hall, I quite honestly knew of nowhere else to go. I quickly made my way to Gryffindor tower where I threw the common room door open and walked straight up to the twins' dorm. I threw myself onto George's bed and laid there. I was on the verge of tears, yet nothing left my eyes. I was the one that called it off, yet I was upset.

I dozed off with George's fluffy orange blanket wrapped tightly around me. I don't know where they were or how late they were going to be, but it didn't matter. I didn't mind being alone.

A few hours passed and I woke up to the door slamming against the wall and George and Fred laughing. I shot my eyes open and sat up.

"Hey, Y/n didn't see you there. Sorry for the scare-" Fred started before George slapped him on the arm.

"You bloody git," he whispered to him, "can't you see she's been crying?" He turned to face me and came closer, kneeling down by the side of the bed. "What's going on Y/n? You alright?" I shook my head as tears formed in my eyes again. George put his hands on my arms, trying to calm me down. "Hey hey hey it's alright. Just let us know what we can do to make you feel better, yeah?" He looked back at Fred who had his arms crossed, but with a sincere look on his face.

"A boy do this?" He asked. "I can beat him for you, you know I can-"

"You and what? A bunch of puking pastilles?" George sassed back at Fred as he turned around and stood up to look at him.
