Draco had been skipping more and more classes. I was starting to get worried, but he wouldn't open up about it when I asked.

On the days Draco was busy, I hung out with the golden trio, along with George and Fred. I had been hanging out with them more and more recently. It was surprising how close we had gotten in such a short amount of time. And I don't mean it as in I know all of their darkest secrets, but I know what they like and don't like. What makes them happy and sad, and we all care for each other. I could confidently say we were friends.

Pansy had gotten better. It had only been a week and a half, and she was acting as if McLaggen never even existed. I didn't know if it was completely for show or if she had actually gotten over him, but she seemed to be doing much better. Last night, she walked into the dorm screaming "men ain't shit!" so I guess that's a good sign.

I usually sleep in Draco's room. It seems to be one of the only times I can be with him, which I was concerned about, but he kept telling me it wasn't a big deal and that everything's okay. For the record, he's a terrible liar.

I was on his bed, reading over my potions notes when he opened the bathroom door. His hair was still wet and he was wearing his usual black sweatpants and black long sleeve.

"Where do you go?" he asked with a concerned look on his face.

"Weird shower thought, care to elaborate?" I asked, closing my notes. He walked over and put his hands on the bed, leaning closer to me.

"All day, when I'm busy, where do you go?" He tilted his head to try and read my expression. I let out a light laugh.

"Class. I go to class. Something you don't do," I mocked, looking down at my hands with a nervous smile on my face.

"You only have three, four classes a day maximum." He put his finger under my chin, lifting my face to look at him. "What do you do the rest of the day?"

If I told him that I hang out with the golden trio, he'd be pissed. I tried to think quickly.

"The library. Sometimes I hang out with the twins- why is this bothering you now?" I asked, furrowing my brows at him.

"It's not bothering me, just curious." He came closer, moving his hands past my thighs, leaning in closer. He started to fall forward, taking me backward. He moved his hand to my back, rolling me on top of him. He had one arm wrapped around my waist and moved the other to the back of my head, moving my head down to meet his lips. He put his head back down and smiled.

"Alright, goodnight Y/n," he whispered, closing his eyes.

"W-wait Draco, the lights," I said, giggling, trying to get out of his grasp. He kept his eyes closed as he spoke.

"No. Good night." He kept his grip around me tight, refusing to let go.

next day

I woke up still on top of Draco, locked in his arms. I looked down at him. His blonde hair had fallen in his face and he looked so peaceful. I brushed a piece of hair off his forehead, to the side, and ran my finger across his cheek. He squeezed his eyes together and moved his head to the side.

"Your hands are cold," he whined in a low voice. I laughed softly.

"You wanna talk about cold hands?" I said. He opened his eyes and looked at me, smiling.

"Yeah?" he cooed, lifting the back of my shirt up and pressing his cold hand onto my back. I squeezed my eyes shut at the sudden shock of cold. Draco laughed at my reaction.

"It's not funny," I complained, sitting up with one leg on either side of him. He sat up on his elbows. I leaned in with an arm on either side of him, leaning over him like he usually does to me. I was millimeters away from his face, our noses practically touching. I put on one of his infamous smirks. "I have class," I whispered, sitting back up and getting off of him to go get ready.
