"ARE YOU going outside?"
"Oo, huling gabi na natin ngayon, eh. Gusto ko nang sulitin bago tayo umalis bukas." I smiled a little at Arlo.
"I'll come with—"
"No. Okay lang akong mag-isa," putol ko sa kanya bago pa siya makatayo sa pagkakaupo niya sa couch. Medyo nagulat siya dahil sa sinagot ko. I heard sigh but nodded his head regardless.
I needed some alone time. I needed to think... by myself.
"Arlo, I'm all right. Thank you for giving your company, however... I need to be alone for the time being." I smiled at him, reassuring him.
"Just...call me if you need me, okay?" he said.
I nodded before walking out the door.
I needed to get through these feelings I was having. I didn't want to drag this out any longer. I needed to think about this. I wasn't going to make any decisions until I was sure of what I was doing.
Naglakad ako papunta sa beach na pinuntahan namin dati. Sobrang nakakakalmado kasi n'ong lugar na 'yon kaya alam kong makakapag isip ako mag-isa doon nang tahimik.
Naupo ako sa puwesto kung saan kami naupo ni Arlo noon. Kagaya dati, walang masyadong tao dahil madilim at malamig na.
I sighed, appreciating this magnificent sight one last time...

"Bangon na diyan! Aalis pa tayo,babe!"
"Five more minutes..." Nate groaned and pulled me that made me fall on top of him. His eyes were still closed.
"Babe, baka ma-late tayo nito..." I pouted and slightly pinched his nose.
"Can we not go, babe?" Niyakap niyaakohabang nakahiga ako sa dibdib niya. Then I felt him kisses my forehead.
"Babe, naman..." sabi ko atnapaupo.
Ilang beses na kasing nauudlot 'tong lakad naming ni Nate dahil minsan busy siya sa trabaho,' tapos ako naman graduating na rin kaya pareho kaming sobrang busy.
He chuckled as he sat up. I pouted at him, so he pulled me in for a hug. "Biro lang, babe. I'm up!" he said and gently pinched my nose. "Ang cute mong mainis..."
I pulled away and glared at him, but he just laughed at me.
"I love you so much, babe," he said before kissing me on the lips
"I love you too,"sagot ko na parang napipilitan. Pero sa totoo lang, umaapaw na naman iyong puso ko sa kilig.
Nate was the sweetest! I couldn't have asked for anything better.
