ARLO

WHEN I first saw this woman in Empire's corridor, I was taken aback by her beauty. I saw a lot of gorgeous women while studying in Canada, and I've seen a lot of beautiful women here in the Philippines as well, but I've never seen a woman who glowed like her.

She shone brightly in the world.

I kept an eye on her as she bounced up and down as she walked towards me. She appeared to be floating on air.

She had no idea I'd been looking at her since I got out of the elevator. Despite the fact that I was carrying two heavy bags of groceries, I didn't mind walking a little slower. If only to get a better look at her.

"I'm so sorry!" she quickly apologized and began gathering the vegetables that had spilled from the bag.

I didn't want to intentionally bumped her so she'd notice me, but I believed that was what happened.

"It's all right," I said. I took a step back and turned my gaze away. I didn't want her to notice that I've been staring at her for a long time.

"Here," she said as she handed me the second bag.

I thanked her with a smile. She was even more stunning up close.

I gave a small smile when I noticed she was staring at me. I didn't like it when other people stared at me, but I didn't mind being stared at if she was the one doing it.

She apologized for staring so intently at me.

"It's perfectly fine. Besides, you walk around so carefree, and it's my fault that I ran into you while staring at you, "I stated the facts. I felt bad about stumbling into her. I almost choked on my own spit when I saw her cheeks turned red.

She is absolutely stunning. Damn!

I was already giddy in my head when she said good-bye. I couldn't say anything even if I wanted to. My sister was almost certainly correct. I was torpe! I've never been in a relationship. Or maybe I was just too focused on my studies.

My ears were on fire as I caught a glimpse of her retreating back. Thankfully, she didn't notice my blush!

I thought I'd never see that woman again, but she showed up at my welcome party! Her radiance astounded me for the second time!

She looked stunning in her red gown, but she appeared uncomfortable.

Atlas, my cousin, introduced me to her and her companion. Her name was Cara. It was a lovely name, just like she her.

I hadn't expected us to bond so quickly, but I was relieved to see her relax around me. Despite the fact that I was not a party animal like Atlas, I was grateful that he hosted this event for me.
