CARA
I WAS busy cooking when I felt his arms wrapping around my waist behind me. Arlo buried his face on the crook of my neck, sniffing me. "Love!
"I don't care if you're covered in sweat, I'll still hug you," he murmured while his face was still buried in my neck.
"You cooked enough food for everyone, love. Why don't we just come upstairs." He gave me a playful smile while wiggling his brows at me.
"Arlo!" sigaw ko.
"What?" he asked innocently.
I glared at him. "Mamayang gabi na 'yon, love! Padating na sina Mom and Dad mayamaya.
Can't wait for tonight..." he said with a playful smile on his lips. Before leaning in and kissing me on the lips.
Arlo left and went to our kids' bedroom to check them.
It had been more than three years since Arlo proposed to me in Batanes. And not long after, we went back to Batanes to get married.
Bryn was our main wedding coordinator. She was so excited that she was the one planning my dream wedding.
Everything happened so fast.
We got married in front of the beach in Batanes where we had our first kiss together. We only invited our family, relatives and closest friends. We didn't want a big wedding. We both prefered an intimate wedding with the people who were closest to us.
It was the happiest day of my life.
I would never forget what Arlo said to me noong unang beses kaming nagpunta sa Batanes.
"I don't know the reason why you're crying, Cara... but, I will make sure that on the day of your wedding, I'll be wiping your tears and you'll cry because of tears of joy. Because you're the happiest bride in the world..."
And he did... He did wipe my tears away because of happiness.
He made me the happiest bride in the world. He completed me. And I couldn't ask for more.
