Jake's POV
I feel like I'm dying inside.
My mom keeps telling me I have so much to live for but it doesn't feel true without Katie, she doesn't know how crazy it makes me to think of her with someone else. She doesn't know how much I love Katie, and what I will do to get her back.
She just doesn't understand. No one does. No one will ever understand how I feel without her. I know that I can't be around her, but I have to see her somehow. I don't know what it is, but I simply can't stay away from her, no matter how hard I try; which I will admit, isn't a a whole lot.
All I know, is that being away from her drives me crazy, and seeing her with him drives me absolutely insane; which is why I have a plan to get her back. I know she loves me, she's just trying to convince herself she doesn't.
Sitting in silence with my thoughts always made me feel psycho, but while I sit here and wait that's all I can do. I've been borrowing friends cars to avoid being detected, and so far its been working. I don't think she has any suspicion about it
The all too familiar ding, announcing the arrival of the elevator, broke me from my thoughts. I turned my head to see them walking off of the elevator holding hands; just the sight of that was enough to make my blood boil, but I knew I had to control myself. I gripped on to the steering wheel, letting out my frustration, but I couldn't take my eyes off of them
She looked so sweet and innocent, even though I know very well she's not. She was being manipulated and used by him and I had to save her. I have to remind her that she loves me and there's no one on this earth that will love her more or better than I do.
They stopped in front of his car, he took her hands in his as they continued to talk, which only infuriated me more. I brought my fist up to my mouth, bighting on my pointer finger knuckle to keep myself from storming out of the car and taking back what's mine.
With them being the only ones in the entire parking garage, I thought I would be able to hear what they were saying but unfortunately couldn't. I parked a little bit away from them so that I wouldn't be seen. I continued to stare in their direction, waiting for them to finally get in the car and notice what I left for them. I wrote it while I waited for them to get off of work, then rushed over and put it under the windshield wiper on his side.
This time, the message is for him. She knows, I'm coming for her; but he needs to be aware too. He needs to know that he's lucky I'm sparing him because I could end him easily if I wanted to.
Finally, he opened the door for her; she must have said something because he glanced over to see. He closed her door, walked over to his side of the car and grabbed the little piece of paper I left. He looked at it, looked over his shoulder, and then got in the car; and then I knew, he knows I left it.
