No one really wanted to sit next to him during lunch, it's not like he wants anyone around him either so it's really not a big deal.

"Hey, mind if I sit here?"

As he looked up, his eyes met (e/c) ones. With a pounding heart, he nodded, chewing his food carefully as the girl sat infront of him.

"I'm L/N—"

"Yeah, I know." Arisu smiled. "We're in the same class."

"Ah, right. So why are you alone? You seem like the type of person to be popular, considering the fact that you're so handsome!" Her jolly voice chirped making his face red.

"I-I don't know, I'm not t-that handsome." The boy awkwardly laughed, scratching his head.

"Oh, please!" She chewed on her food. "You're cute!"

Arisu chuckled, feeling a bit hyped up because of her presence.

This continued for a few more weeks until Arisu felt empty whenever Y/N wasn't around.

"Fuck..." He cussed, plopping on his bed as he covered his eyes with his arm. "Should I distance myself or what?"

Just the thought about her beautiful face makes his heart pound violently.

"Hey," His brother knocked. "There's a girl downstairs, she's looking for you."

"What?!" He jolted on his bed with his brows furrowed. "I-I'm coming."

Arisu fixed himself and carefully walked down the stairs.

"...thank you." He heard her melodic voice.

"Are you his girlfriend?" His brother's question made him stop.

"O-Oh, I, uhm, no. I'm not. He doesn't like me in that kind of way, and probably won't." Y/N shyly scratched the back of her neck as she awkwardly laughed.

"But you like him, don't you?" As his brother continued to interrogate the girl, his father appeared beside him.

"I like her."

"And?" He raised a brow at his father, lightly turning to face him.

"Make a damn move already, I didn't raise you to be a coward." Then off the old man went.

"Dang, I'm not a coward." Arisu pouted, rolling his eyes.

"...of course! I'd love to." Hearing her laugh with his brother made him piss and so he went up to them. Without making any warning, he grabbed her wrist and dragged her towards his room.

"Well, hello to you too, nerd." Y/N grinned.

"Nerd? Please. I'm a gaming-freak."

"Woah, your room is so cool." She gaped in amusement as she roamed her eyes around. "My parents would never buy me these gaming consoles or anything that is related in games."

"Sucks to be you." Arisu laughed but soon frowned.

Oh who am I kidding, it sucks to be me as well.

"Oh shut up, anyways, wanna hang?" Sitting on his bed, she flashed a smile. "I was bored and my parents are out, like usual, so I decided to come by. I'm not disturbing, am I?"

"You will never be a disturbance to me."

After realizing those words, he froze, slowly turning to face her.

"Well, that was flattering." She laughed. "Hey, look at this, I found this on our fridge and took two pieces. These cupcakes are lit!"

Y/N gave the other cupcake to him as she devoured her own. Eating his own in just three bites, he hummed in satisfaction. As he turn to look at her, Arisu can only chuckle when the icing got on the side of her lips.

"That was delicious," She giggled.

"Hey," Arisu called out, grabbing her chin before slowly leaning in.

"Yeah—" Y/N froze in her spot, heart pounding when Arisu's lips met hers. Slowly giving in to the kiss, she held on his collar, moving her lips as well. As they both kissed, Arisu bit on her bottom lip making her gasp. He slyly entered his tongue inside, exploring her wet cavern as he held on her waist using his other hand, whilst the other held her cheek.

Arisu was the first to part, face reddening as soon as he realized his actions.

"Holy—I'm so sorry!" He clasped his hands together as he muttered a few more apologies.

Y/N smirked, wiping her lips as she made him look at her by grabbing his chin.

"I'll be damned, Arisu, never knew this side of you. Do you like me?"

Avoiding her gaze, he shook his head, "No."

"Really? Look at me in the eyes and say it then." She huskily whispered.

"I-I..." When his eyes met hers, all he wanted to do was just kiss her and be with her for the rest of his life. "I-I like you."

"Great!" She grinned, clapping her hands. "I like you too!" She pounced on him and attacked him with a bear hug. "I like you, Ryōhei..."

"I don't know what was that just now, but I feel the same." He chuckled. "Should I court you from now on?"

"Yes. Yes you should."
