"Attention, please." Dumbledoor's voice boomed throughout the entire stadium, and everyone fell silent. All eyes were on the headmaster, and not even the Lagora students dared speak.

"I am very pleased that we are able to participate in some healthy competition with our fellow Lagora students."

"Healthy? More like deadly," Fred whispered, and George snickered. "They want to kill us."

Seraphina glanced towards the Lagora stands, and she was displeased to see that one of the quidditch players was Snake Boy. Even from here, she could see his forked tongue, and she shuddered.

Fred slung an arm around her. "Scared, love?"

"No, just disturbed."

"I don't blame you. But hey, at least the Slytherins go first."

"It'll be like looking in a mirror. Both lots are selfish, cheating pricks," George said.

Seraphina thought about past matches and nodded in agreement. Slytherins were definitely a bit slimy when it came to competition. Their match against the Lagora Leftovers would be interesting, to say the least. Seraphina looked at Harry and noticed he looked a bit more tense than before. She scooted closer to him and put a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Look." She pointed. "Professor Lupin is there," subtly hinting that the dementors would not be able to touch him.

Harry gave her a grateful smile. "Yeah, I'm glad."

Seraphina smiled back and squeezed his shoulder.

"It's starting," Oliver muttered. "Damn it. I wish we could've gone first."

"I'm glad we're not first," Alicia said with a shake of her head.

"Yeah, same here actually," Angelina added.

Seraphina spotted Madame Pomfrey and a few other medical staff members waiting on standby. She didn't know whether to feel relieved or alarmed.

The sound of drums pounded in the air, and Seraphina watched as the players flew onto the field.

Her gaze automatically swept towards the Slytherins.

Draco stood out like a sore thumb, and he was heatedly glaring at someone. She followed his gaze and saw Felix smirking at him. Felix said something, but Seraphina couldn't hear him from this distance. It must have been something insulting though because Draco surged forward on his broom. Marcus held out an arm and barked an order. Draco snarled in fury but went back to position.

Murmurs ran throughout the crowd, and everyone glanced uneasily at each other.

"Bloody hell. This is going to be an unforgettable battle..." Ron took out his binoculars, and

Hermione rolled her eyes. "Where on earth did you even get those?"

"I borrowed them from Hagrid," Ron said with a grin.

A couple minutes passed by, and finally, Dumbledore said, "Let the game begin."

With his announcement, the snitch was released as well as the quaffles and bludgers. The hoops started moving, and a few swear words were heard here and there.

Seraphina's heart pounded as her throat choked with fear. This is so intense. It's nothing like practice. Her gaze flitted to the Hufflepuffs who were next, and they looked absolutely petrified. They're not going to survive.
