Seraphina looked at herself in the mirror one more time. She had really missed wearing these robes. She smiled as she fixed her Gryffindor tie.

"Seraphina, let's go, or we'll be late," Hermione said.

"Coming." Seraphina left the bathroom and followed her best friend out to the common room. They joined Harry and Ron and made their way to the Great Hall. She wedged herself between Hermione and Neville and waited patiently as the first year students were sorted into their houses.

Then Dumbledore made an announcement about "dementors" being stationed at school this year, causing everyone to murmur in fear. Harry's face paled, and Seraphina remembered Hermione's story about how dementors had come into their compartment. It was too bad she hadn't been there, or she would've tried to protect Harry somehow. Then again, she didn't even know what dementors were. She remembered reading about them in some history book, and although she was smart, she was no Hermione.

"Let the feast begin," Dumbledore said, and the table was immediately overflowing with all kinds of scrumptious foods.

Seraphina spotted Luna and smiled as she held up the Yorkshire pudding. "I told you," Seraphina mouthed, making Luna nod and smile back. Seraphina shifted her gaze and froze when she locked eyes with a pair of icy blue ones. She instantly remembered what had happened back at the train, and her heart did that tumbling thing again. One corner of his lips surged upwards, as if he knew exactly what she was thinking.

Seraphina dropped her gaze and inwardly cursed herself. She was completely delusional, and she swore if her heart did another flop when she saw him, she would take herself straight to Madam Pomfrey.

"Eat up, Seraphina. You got rather skinny these days." Hermione frowned as she pushed her plate towards her.

"Yes, Seraphina, do be a deary and eat up before mama Hermione gives you a good beating," Ron snickered, and Seamus roared with laughter beside him.

Seraphina patted her robes. "I swear I brought my wand with me."

"WHOA!" Ron paled with his hands out. She had once changed his robes into a tutu in front of everyone, and he would never ever forget the humiliation back then. "Bloody hell. Learn to take a joke!"

Seraphina gave him a look but smiled. She picked up her fork and finally started to eat. She took a bite of the Yorkshire pudding, and her smile widened.

Luna was right. The pudding was delicious.

The feast came to an end, and everyone followed the prefects to the dormitories.

 "Potter! Potter!"

Seraphina halted along with her friends and turned her head to see Draco with his own crew.

"Is it true you fainted?" Draco snickered. "I mean, you actually fainted?!"

"Shove off, Malfoy," Ron sneered as he forced Harry to keep walking. Hermione rolled her eyes and walked away. Seraphina heard Draco laugh and stopped in her tracks to shoot him a glare. He paused, and she furrowed her eyebrows. "I don't find anything funny about this," Seraphina said.

"Then you don't have a sense of humor," Pansy shot back with her arms crossed.

"Buzz off, Blakewood," Goyle barked. "Before I hex your ass-"

Draco shoved him with a glare. "Who said you could mouth off like that?"

Goyle lowered his tail at once. "I-I just..."

 "Seraphina!" Hermione called.

"Better go, Seraphina," Draco said with a nod in her direction. "Before Mommy Granger comes after you."

Seraphina gave him a distrustful look before going to catch up with her friends. There he goes... calling me Seraphina again...
