After a lengthy lecture about getting along, Dumbledore finally let the students leave the Great Hall.

Seraphina was about to go up the stairs when someone grabbed her wrist and yanked her into a dim hallway. She pointed her wand at the person in front of her and hissed, "Lumos!"

Her eyes widened in surprise. "Draco?"

She glanced around in puzzlement. "What are you doing?"

"Stay away from him, Seraphina."

"What? What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about Felix Fernsby!" Draco hissed. The rage was back in his eyes.

"How do you know Felix? Please don't tell me you're friends with him."

"Are you barking mad? Of course not," Draco snapped. "I would never associate myself with an ingrate like him."

Seraphina sighed in relief. After a pause, Draco said, "Felix is dangerous. He ended up at Lagora because he did terrible things to people, mainly girls. He doesn't have a cell of empathy in his blood, and he isn't afraid to torture or maim whoever gets in his way. Once he lands his eyes on a target, he doesn't let go until he has his way with them. His last victim lost her hearing and vision... for good. No amount of magic will bring them back. On top of that, his parents are Death Eaters, and they're locked away in Azkaban right now."

"Now you're scaring me," Seraphina admitted as her knees shook and heart thumped. "Why didn't you tell me any of this before I told him off?"

"I didn't know he was going to sit next to you," Draco hissed. "If I had, I would've cursed his arse." Panic and alarm was scribbled all over her face, and he looked down to calm down his raging fury. If he said one more thing about Felix, she would probably pitch herself off the astronomy tower out of fear. "Just... stay away from him. Better yet, stay next to me. If there's one thing the Fernsbys are afraid of, it's the Malfoys. He won't be able to do anything if you're near me." At least, I hope so. Honestly, I'm not sure.

"Okay, but I mean, how bad can he be, right? And besides, he's at Hogwarts. I'm sure he can't do anything with the professors watching," Seraphina said, but she was just trying to assure herself.

"This is exactly why I hate fucking Dumbledore," Draco muttered.

"Hey." Seraphina frowned. She really admired Dumbledore, and he was the reason she was able to be here today.

Draco sighed and caught sight of the tribulant hanging from her neck. He glanced at his own tribulant and breathed a sigh of relief when it wasn't glowing. She was safe. "At least I'll know if you're in danger. Just watch out... okay?" He looked up and locked eyes with her. Their faces were just inches apart, and she got another good look at his icy blue eyes. They were different from Felix's, and she softly whispered, "They're pretty..."

"What? What's pretty?" Draco asked, confused.

"Uh..." Seraphina snapped out of her daze. "The paintings. On the walls. Yeah..." She cleared her throat and stepped back. "We should go back to our rooms before we get in trouble. Percy might be Ron's friend, but he takes his job as the Head Boy very seriously."

Seraphina left the hall, and Draco followed. She noticed he kept following her, and with a sigh, and she paused on the stairs and turned around. "What?!"

"I wouldn't stop on the stairs like that if I were you." Draco caught her forearm and forced her to step back just in time. The stairs swung, and she gripped the side for balance. Seraphina sighed, "Why are you following me?"

"I'm walking you to your dorm."

"You don't have to! Just go, Draco!"

The stairs came to a halt, and she spun around only to see Snake Boy. He smirked and flicked his forked tongue at her. His shiny bald head made him look creepier than ever. Seraphina immediately faced Draco and weakly smiled. "On second thought... maybe you should walk me to my dorm."

Draco rolled his eyes but smirked. He took her hand, shot Snake Boy a cold glare, and tugged her past him.

"Why is his tongue like that?" Seraphina whispered.

"The hell if I know, but I hope it splits all the way so that he'll choke on it to death," Draco snapped.

Seraphina stared at him for a few seconds before bursting into laughter. "Wow, that was dark. But I kind of hope that, too. Then at least I don't have to see his tongue again."

Draco smirked in agreement and guided her safely to her dormitory.
