"Some weather, huh?" The captain and keeper of the Gryffindor team smiled hopefully at his team. This was Oliver's final year at Hogwarts, and he wanted to achieve another feat before graduating.

Harry was too nervous to smile.

The dementors floating around were getting on his nerves.

Seraphina was the only one who offered a crack of a smile to him. "Yeah..." She didn't even think the authorities would allow them to play in such a storm, but she wasn't going to complain.

"Harry," Seraphina whispered as she gently squeezed his arm. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'll be fine." It was like he was reassuring himself. She gave him a sympathetic smile before lining up by the gate.

"You have to get the snitch before Malfoy does. Do you understand, Harry? Just focus on the snitch. We'll take care of everything else," Oliver advised.

Harry nodded, and Seraphina blew out a breath. Now she was getting nervous.

The gate opened, and she hopped on her broom. She whizzed onto the field with the rest of the players. She could spot Draco's blonde hair and glanced at Harry. Unlike Harry, Draco didn't look that nervous, and he didn't seem to mind the dementor's meddlesome presence either.

"Go Harry! Go Seraphina!" Hermione cheered from the crowd.

Seraphina smiled back but didn't dare wave back. She needed both hands on the broom. It was too slippery from the rain, and she wasn't going to take a chance. Oliver wouldn't let falling be an excuse for losing the game. The snitch was released, and soon, the field became a whirlwind of chasing, beating, and flying.

Seraphina ducked a bludger and blew out a breath. She hadn't been hit by one yet, and she wasn't planning to break her accident-free record today.

"Seraphina," Angelina yelled. "Catch!"

Seraphina caught the quaffle and dove towards the hoop. She threw it into the hoop, causing the Slytherin keeper to sneer hatefully at her.

"Yes! Yes! Seraphina!" Hermione proudly screamed from the stands.

Seraphina ducked her head in embarrassment but smiled and flew to the middle of the field. When the coast was clear of bludgers, she searched for Harry. She saw him flying upwards, and her eyes widened with excitement at the sight of the snitch right before him. Go, Harry! You can do this! Her smile crumbled and fell when she spotted dementors closing in. What? No! They're not even allowed to be on this field!

Harry must have panicked because he flew even higher into the stormy clouds.

"Harry!" Seraphina forgot about her role as the chaser and flew upwards. She had to help him somehow! Suddenly, Harry fell off his broom. She saw his body diving straight downwards, and her heart plummeted along with it.

"HARRY!" Seraphina zipped towards him with a hand out. She gritted her teeth as she attempted to catch him somehow. She was so focused on Harry that she didn't even notice the bludger heading in her direction.

"Seraphina!"

It was too late.

The bludger slammed right into her, and she slipped off her broom as her consciousness melted away from her. Someone snatched her by the waist and held her close to keep her from landing to her death.

The last thing she saw was a pair of icy blue eyes.

Then she was out for good.
